I’m going to say what others have said but I feel like should be said more.

Let. People. Ship. What. They. Want

Cassarian, Varipunzel, Eugerian, Varialina, Cassdira, Varigo, Cassunzel, New Dream, unknighted dream- they’re ALL great ships!

I genuinely pretty much like almost every single one. Why do we have to fight over it? The fandom is already small we shouldn’t be divided too.

Shipping Cassarian or Varipunzel is no different than shipping something like Ferbnessa. Which is ACTUALLY canon! Only when Varian is an adult. Especially Cassarian where they’d reunite years later after both having grown as people. Like Anakin and Padme from Star Wars. It’s NOT pedophilia! Gosh I hate even typing the damn word geez. It just legitimately makes me sick.

Even if you don’t like another ship, just don’t look at the tags! And just because you don’t ship something doesn’t mean you can’t always like them, or like stories that have them!

For example, I ship Cassarian, but I still like to read Varigo or Cassunzel or unknighted dream.

If you HAVE to send a harassing message to others telling them to off themselves just because of a ship, then there’s clearly something wrong with you. People do NOT deserve to be told such horrible things, especially when they’re NOT pedophiles!! Idk what your problems are, but if you genuinely CAN’T leave it alone, then I’m sorry, but I think you need to seek some professional help then.

I’d also like to shout out @twotangledsisters who, as you know if you follow her, obviously ships Cassandra x Lady Caine, and yet has listened to me rant about Cassarian before! 😆 I LOVE her AU about Rapunzel and Cassandra growing up together!! And her version of Cassandra and Caine’s relationship! 🥰 And I commend her for not judging others based on what they ship! Thank you so much for being a decent person ☺️ and I can’t wait to read more of your stories 👍🏻👍🏻

I’d also like to thank @disneyfanatic1993 (the biggest Cassarian shipper I know 😆) for helping me feel confident in this stance. Everytime I saw things like that being said about Cassarian I used to get upset and actually question myself. But partly thanks to her, I pretty much no longer have those doubts! So thank you Liz! 😌 you are a very lovely person, and you really helped me gain my confidence in this ship!! I’m forever grateful towards you.

And if any other Cassarian or Varipunzel or Eugerian shippers out there are having doubts about their ship. Don’t. Because all of them are beautiful! Just like Varigo is, and just like Cassunzel is.

If your a shipper of ANY of the ships in my tags, not just Varipunzel or Cassarian or any of the other Varian ships besides Varigo. Amazing! You ship them and don’t let any haters bring you down! And if you ARE a hater and you TRULY don’t believe you could ever look past your personal opinion,, well, just block the tag and move on. That why we’re all content and there’s no one getting their feelings or their opinions stomped on. You have to KNOW that most people won’t change their minds, so in reality it’s just a waste of your precious time.

Ship and let ship. And let people express themselves freely.

Ya know, I've never really thought of a number of these, so a couple of these are my first thoughts.

Varigo

Admittedly my favorite of the bunch. I just kinda saw art and stuff of them a while back, and thought the dynamic was fun. They challenge each other, and despite antagonistic feelings and perceptions at first, can relate to the other in many ways.

Though it can depend on how they're written. During the antagonistic portion of their dynamic, I like when they're equally goading each other and on an even playing field. After all, Varian can be *incredibly* snarky.

I also find it... uncomfortable when Varian is reduced to the weaker and naive one, cause... he's not??? And it just reinforces heteronoramative stereotypes about there needing to be a "Man" and "Woman" in the relationship.

So overall, big fan, very much enjoy. But some iterations put me off, and I can understand why people might not like it.

Vexian

Never really thought of this one before. Much like Varigo, I could see them challenging each other, just in different ways. I could see them either working scarily well together and being absolute menaces, or they would despise each other. Could depend when/how they meet.

Faithian

Also never thought of this before. Depending how Faith is characterized, I could maybe see it similar to the dynamic @o0whiterabbit0o has going with Var and their OC Lashanie, which I do enjoy seeing and find adorable. Just, with Faith's more prevalent nervous energy, and and other differences in how she's characterized.

Note: Will not be canon in my rewrite, as I made Faith older to put her between Cass and Rapunzel in age, and her dynamic with Varian is more sibling-esque. For all intents and purposes, my version of Faith is practically an OC at this point 😅

Varipunzel

In canon? No.

Varipunzel slightly exists in the realm of Cassunzel (with no Eugene involved) to me. In the realm of Canon, with the timeline and events of the show, ehhhhh no. Eugene is sidelined enough in the show, sidelining him in his own relationship feels wrong.

Not to mention the fact they meet Varian when he's 14. Like, that is either an 8th grader or a freshman in high school, and the gang regularly refers to him as young and a kid.

But in AUs and stuff where everything changes except the names, appearance, and rough personality of characters? Yeah, sure, I can see the dynamic working. Just... either make them closer in age, or have them meet later in the future.

Schnitzherbert

Another one I've not come into contact with before. I am a sucker for Childhood Friends to Lovers, though xD

Dynamic wise, depends. If it takes place during their thieving days, I could kinda see it where they both have this mask up most of the time, but can take it off and be open with each other. As well as being totally competent and smart on their own, but only having a singular braincell when put together.

Though overall, based purely off canon and their personalities, I prefer them as Bros.

Cassdira

I can see the dynamic, but... Adira's also old enough to be Cassandra's mom 😅 I mean, they're both adults, so sure, ship what you ship, but that's also kinda what keeps me from shipping Lance and Adira.

My overall view on shipping is, if it's not doing harm to anyone and you aren't using it to be a dick, I don't really care. Ship what you ship. And if I don't like something, I ignore it and go on with my day. It's all supposed to be fun, you know? We're all just playing dolls with these characters
