a/n: very simple with no actual interaction but i thought it would be a fun idea to write this while i was rewatching that video. also this character switches between being a musician or actor so just picture a pop culture presence. i did make amanda and shayne + courtney’s more on the platonic side bc they’re in public relationships, but you can still read it as romantic😚 but n e ways; first time writing, unedited, a little ooc, bad grammar, use of y/n, bad spelling, lowercase, didnt stick to the ‘exact’ script

“Okay, robert pattinson, dev patel, y/n l/n, and a YOUNG al pacino,” shayne listed with emphasis on each name. “shayne guesses” had become such a successful series that they simply started throwing out ideas for the next part. celebrity crushes happened to be the LEAST criminal of suggestions.
“robert pattinson could show up a lot, thats another one that i could have guessed,” shayne stated, already coming up with an idea of who this was, “And y/n l/n, i heard- oh! they just did that new ghost buster movie with the stranger things kid, right?”
“pfff- the stranger things kid?” spencer questioned.
“whatever dude. But yeah,” shayne took a pause, “i respect this.” his chin breifly fell into his hands. “robert pattinson and dev patel feel very sterio-typical. like, this is a person in their twenties. And al pacino is kind of, wanting to be a little unique.”
shayne sighed into a smile, “and, if we didnt have y/n l/n, i would have thrown out erin dougal, cause i know they love robert pattinson, and have a background with film when it comes to young-al pacino but this is clearly angela,” he claimed while he crossed her name off his little list.
spencer laughed as the green screen pulled up a picture of angela. shayne nodded with a knowing expression on his face.
“yeah i cant say im surprised. i mean, if y/n l/n wasnt on her list, id be shocked. i mean angela’s gone to how many of their shows? cause they’re mostly a music artist right?” shayne asked, looking off camera to the production team.
spencer’s voice carried to the mic, “yeah…” he started off hesitantly, “yeah i think so. cause this ghostbusters movie is like their first ‘big’ acting gig,” spencer claimed.
shayne grinned a little as spencer spoke, before turning back to the camera, “well hey. maybe we’ll see them on the chanel someday. ok next!”

laughing as he looked back to the monitor, shayne smiled as he started, “ok, ok. SOLID, wow, okay,” he said, taking in the new list of crushes. “so we have ryan gosling- who i thought, would have shown up more by now. um, we have la-lisa?”
“yeah,” spencer chimed in from behind the camera.
shayne looked over, “what are they from?”
“blackpink,” spences said with no hesitation.
“blackpink? Ok. another k-pop idle on here, and uh rhea ripley from the WWE,” shayne states with concentration in his face. “And y/n l/n. Fun fact, i had no clue what they looked like until right now.”
“bro- they’re so, just-like… they’re the perfect mix of conventionally and unconventionally attractive its crazy, and dont even get me started on their voice bro. the new album they just released, ‘Light as a Feather’ is so perfect for their style, and the music videos go so hard! y/n MUST have gone to film school or at least had a great production team because the way they use symbolism in their songs and music videos-,” spencer shared in a passionate, excited voice, starting to laugh near the end as the crew went wild.
the second spencer had started stuttering out his little speach, shayne was laughing.
with tears in his eyes, shayne asked, “so this is you? dudeeeee. you know, we have just the luck that they’re somehow gunna see this,”
“duuuuuude,” spencer dragged, “i will literally find a time machine and jump into the billionaire-death-submarine if they see this.”
people exploded with laughter as the green screen now showcased a picture of spencer. shayne only mangaged a strangled, “oh my god” before he too was taken over by laughter.
then-, cut to their “some difficulties” screen.
“alllllright guys,” shayne said, slightly panting, finally pulling it together after his barrage of giggles. “so this is spencer! i mean this was sort of given to me, i looked over at him and he cracked under the pressure-,” shayne almost started laughing again, face turning red but being able to keep it in after a pause, “so everyone, those are spencer’s celebrity crushes. and guys lets make sure y/n l/n sees this.”
the office laughed once more before they were on to the other lists.

“i was just like, guitar->josh,” shayne explained to the crew as they laughed in the back, “-stupid. javier bardem, y/n l/n, tommy lee jones, uhh, and a turkish actor,” shayne listed as spencer explained who the last celebrity was.
shayne checked amanda’s name off his list as he confirmed, “wow, this is amanda. this is amanda. tommy lee jones alone and javier bardem. the complete opposite of selina. amanda’s like, ‘are they 70?’” shayne joked. “I am a little surprised that y/n l/n is on there? they’re a tv actor, no?”
The screen changed to show amanda, as spencer chimed in, “yeah, they are. so, uhhhh, when i asked amanda about it cause i was also curious,” he paused, seemingly showing shayne an image as shayne leaned out of frame, “she said it was because of this, kinda flop, horror-tv-series they did in 2015(?). but y/n l/n plays a horror movie actor, who is actually a serial killer and they dont know it.”
“ oh? that actually seems kinda promising,” shayne commented.
“yeah! and basically whenever they put on a costume, they become that person. they did psycho, ghostface; but theres this whole character arc where they turn into javier bardem,” spencer explained (he had spent the last couple nights watching deep dives about the show, so he had an arsenal of facts).
“wait, that seems sick. how have i never heard of this?” shayne questioned.
spencer sighed, “its called ‘Method Actor’. and it is a great plot line, but y/n l/n is the only good actor in it. it’s literally crazy.” shayne started laughing but spencer continued, “no im serious! the main character has, like, an A-list-actor level performance, while literally every other character is like that one theater kid who sings too fast.”
tears were coming down shayne’s red face as he cooled down from his laughter. “and amanda’s into that?” he asked with a smile.
“i mean, she was desperate enough to send me an entourage of tiktok edits,” spencer responded.
“ughhhh, thats too good. well, that was amanda, whats next.”

pressing the button, to continue in the slide show, shayne started talking, “ alright next up, we have! y/n l/n, florence pugh, donald glover, and shayne topp.”
“that’s awkward dude,” spencer chimed in.
“thats weirdddd,” shayne continued, “i thought you said no YouTubers man!”
the laughter only increased as spencer replied with, “i- look. hes in the goldbergs.”
“okay.” shayne looked to his notes as he explained, “i think this is courney, uhh because of y/n l/n, and florence pugh.” people laughed as he marked his partner off the small list in his hands.
spencer spoke up with, “is this their first appearance?”
“this is the first y/n l/n appearance which is crazy to me. i think it just kinda- you know who also hasn’t appeared is margot robbie,” “yeah” “and i think its just like,” “some people are just too pretty” “some people, its just like, yeah for sure. it kinda like Meryl streep at the oscars, where its like, yeah, for sure, you’re the best actress. like what ever,” “shayne paused looking to his hands, “yeah its courtney. um, no. truthfully whenever florence pugh is onscreen, courtney turns into the wolf from the looney toons cartoons. and whenever y/n gets refrenced, we both just are, ARUHR RUHR RUH RUHR RUH-“
“just start barkin’” spencer claimed as shayne shook from the barks.

“there it is!” shayne shouted as the screen revealed his wife, “but yeah, me and courtney always joke about how if we ever met y/n, we would ask them to become our third.”
“bro! we need them on the channel,” spencer said, eyes wide and mischievous, “we could do a live stream where you and court just go with different character combos and try flirting with them. see which one works.”
laughter filled the studio as shayne’s cheeks gained a little color. that which he soon brushed off as he too started laughing.

“And finally,” declared shayne, “we have anne hathaway, anya taylor-joy, hayley williams, and y/n l/n. huh, okay.”
“do you think you would have been able to get that?” spencer asked, the only person left, now being damien.
“i dont know if i would have guessed damien from this,” shayne replied truthfully, a tone of surprise in his words.
spencer replied steadily, “i would have known with the hayley williams but i dont know about the other two.”
“the hayley williams make the most sense,” he paused, the look on his face indicating that he was trying to recollect a memory, “you know? yeah, damien and i talk about a lot of things but i dont feel like we ever talked about celebrities we thought were, attractive or our ‘celebrity crushes’. it just didnt come up that often. but the y/n l/n and hayley williams are ones that im, like-, that i picture. y/n l/n for sure.”
shayne then asked, “you can cut this but i think damien has actually met them, right? he interviewed them?”
“yeah and then that was all he talked about for a week,” spencer said with a laugh.
“riiiiiight,” shayne scoffed, “well hey! i got lucky, cause i get to continue my 100% guessing damien correct, cause he was the last one here.”

shayne leaned back as he wrapped up the video, “well, let us know, down below, who your top celebrity crushes are. let us know who had the best top four; which one you respect the most. and let us know if we should do ‘technically’ another video with y/n l/n.”
spencer laughed, slightly confused, “what do you mean?”
“you dont know?” shayne questioned, “y/n l/n and anthony are like cousins, er- their moms are like best friends.”
“oh shit so we could like, actually have them on?”
shayne laughed before very quickly saying, “like and subscribe! leave a comment about what else i should guess and see you in the next one.”
