Ch 187: Can Bard Survive?

I know many people in the fandom are seeing what happens to Bard at the end of ch 187 as comparable to Agni, but I disagree.

I think it’s much more like what happened to Tanaka the night the manor was attacked.

They were all stabbed in the back, but Agni was brutally attacked, stabbed many times (not including Agni’s death bc I find it upsetting every damn time 💔).

Bard and Tanaka are both stabbed only once and in what looks like the same location on the body.

However, I don’t think loli bitch (aka Layla) is the one who stabbed Tanaka. The blades are different. The one that stabbed Tanaka looks more like a kitchen knife or large hunting knife, whereas the one loli bitch has is more like a dagger or perhaps a Japanese short sword.

However, we know Tanaka survived his injury. We also know that Wolf, who was shot in the chest, survived as well, because he got medical attention right away.

Bard is at a hospital—that can do blood transfusions—and Ada is a trained combat nurse. Additionally, Lau still hasn’t reappeared and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s nearby and fights with loli bitch. He has also mentioned in the past that he has knowledge of Chinese medicine. So imo there’s hope that Bard could still pull through.

To get a bit medical here, if the knife hit Bard’s heart he would have died almost instantly. But if it missed his heart, especially if he’s treated right away, then there’s definitely a chance he could survive.

I choose hope.
