two birds on a wire - phantomhive twins (kuroshitsuji edit)
I do not think we are suppose to take "i am Mikaela" statement literally. Considering yu has a soul of his own .. Mikaela is NoT Yu.
And this chapwas way offf into the past ... by the time greece era came.. something must have happened. It's idiotic to think sikama wouldn't recognize his child's soul and invest so much time into creating a demon king for millennia.
It’s probably coincidence, but it’s interesting to me that the giant’s jolly roger is a horned skull reminiscent of characters like Oars and Kaido.
Also, this is the exact same ship Dorry and Broggy used when they were pirates, which makes sense
"He picked that flower and brought it before his eyes, feeling his mind cloud just like the lingering hot air surrounding him; he needed to spare a hand to wave away the haze"
Rambling about Fairies - Manga Chapter 129 vs Anime Episode 51
The anime makes Jude a little more sympathetic. He looks heartbroken when Lucy pushes past him and runs, and he leaves, seemingly realizing he’d fucked up once more. In the manga, Jude is still furious. Which makes sense-- they did just have a big angry fight, people don’t just stop being overemotional. Lucy doesn’t run in the manga-- she tells him to leave, and he does, begrudged.
Both are good, honestly. The anime implies he’s trying his best to grow and failing, and the manga shows he’s still got a long way to go, which justifies Lucy’s desire to burn the bridge.
The manga ends this scene here (none of that going home and getting cheered up by Natsu and Gray stuff), it skips straight into the next day after this. I like this better because Lucy didn’t run away from her father again (that was the whole cause of the Phantom problem,) she pushed him away, standing her ground despite still being afraid of her father and hating him for his neglect.
But she knows that this isn’t solving the problem either, and it leaves her miserable. She can’t enjoy her current life if this sustains, because it’ll continue to come back and haunt her.
Which is why the next scene, where she goes to Acalypha out of concern for him, is necessary to allow her to move past this.
Opinion: Undertaker should cut the film
Every time I go to ch151 for panels or dialogue, I’m so annoyed. And seeing how real Ciel treats everything and everyone since then isn’t helping me. Actually, ever since ch129. Every scene with bizarre doll real Ciel makes me cringe.
I really want Undertaker to say “Well, this was a mistake...”, cut real Ciel’s records, and add “END”.
Luffy is climbing around the ship like an actual monkey
