Drafting and outlining are meant to be messy and imperfect. It's taken me a long time to get to this point where drafting was allowed. For the longest time, until it was perfect I didn't stop messing with something to move on to the next part. You ARE allowed. This is the only part I can do at work (where I happen to spend 9 hours of my day) and honestly? This has helped me writing process so much. It makes me stop and think about how to get from point a to point b. Let your drafts/plot charts be messy. 💜
