30 Day BL Challenge- Day 2: Fav BL Drama(s)
This is one that is going to get more than 1 cause I can't choose. I will start off with Cherry Magic. Listen to me, this is a TOP TIER BL! Why? Because it is just so wholesome! All I knew about this drama was the premise and that it was BL! I wasn't sure how I was going to watch it, don't judge me but I do use that one site, but I found out it was on crunchyroll so I watched it there. Anyway, the reason it's one of my favorites it's because this drama is so wholesome! Let me start off by saying I live for the drama, I want angst, I want anger. Cherry Magic is pretty much all fluff. And I loved every second of it. I relate to Adachi so much about being a nobody and just living day to day. The Kurosawa he never, spoiler warning, thought Adachi could be his. Their love story is so great. Adachi just grows as a person and Kurosawa is simply the best. If you haven't seen this drama, do yourself a favor and go watch it.
Listen this is the one drama I wish I could erase from my mind only to re-watch it again for the first time. This is Definitely TOP TIER as well but like levels above Cherry Magic. A Mafia boss with a weird past, A cop with one thing on his mind and then a great side story. This is trapped. The way this story develops, to me at least, is not the norm and so definitely beautiful. They also have open communication and they actually listen! The drama is there cause there are so many twists and turns, I was so happy but the fluff wasn't to fluff but realistic which I enjoyed. So glad this now on YouTube so I can re-watch freely. Also so many cute moments, I don't want to mention but this drama stole my heart is in most def in my top 5!
Lastly A Tale of a Thousand Stars. Like we are all currently waiting for KinnPorsche. We had to wait for this one as well due to covid. To say I was hyped is an understatement. Mostly because I am in love with Earth Pirapat, like madly in love. So finally seeing him be in main role, we don't talk about Water Boyy, I was really excited. I was hesitant because I had so many expectations, but let me just say it did not disappoint. At the end of every episode I was left wanting more, trying to figure what exactly happened in this drama, ifykyk. It was just beautiful. The cast was amazing as well, just sheer perfection. This drama also for me personifies the whole if you love them, let them go. It was a really sweet drama and the end was everything. It also had its very comedic moments, and if you are a lover of Earth Pirapat well you see him be tough, have a forever serious face, his amazing smile, and a few shirtless scenes.
