JDF;ALSKJ;FLKJA i love chlodrien so much okay so much i’m so excited you asked HNNGGHH
I have a very involved Chlodrien au where I planned having the fic go back and forth between them in high school and them in a long-term relationship in their mid-twenties.
It started with the idea that Adrien gave Chloe the Bee Miraculous for help and she had to keep it for a couple days before the akuma got defeated. Even though it had only been a few days, Pollen already meant the world the Chloe. And she can’t keep her.
Here are some incoherent thoughts I’ve written about this:
Chat Noir visits Chloe through her balcony at the hotel. He gives her the miraculous shortly after she's lost that Tone of Voice with him and she speaks softer and doesn't hide Mr. Cuddly from him and he hands her a comb and a friend that changes her life.
And she feels parental love and attention for the first time in years. And he takes that away.
And she fucking hates him. Even as she doesn't, she hates him and she never wants to see him again, even as she misses the way his voice was quiet in her room and kept her from the sleeping clutches of nightmares.
Chloe has always been alone, even in a room full of people.
Her mother's back to her even as she clung to her teddy bear and sobbed and screamed at the top of her lungs in the hotel lobby. She can ask for anything but her father's time. She can empty her pockets and people are sooner to throw away her gifts than to spend time with her. She doesn't know what causes Chat Noir to come to her and tell her that he trusts her with a comb miraculous.
A kwami. Chloe doesn't know what it is, but she's sweet and attentive, helps her go into her transformation. She doesn't expect the fight to be one that lasts more than one day.
"It's easier if you take care of her until the akuma resurfaces. It's okay. I trust you!" Chat calls as he flies off, his ring beeping incessantly.
Pollen is the most present person in her life for the next two days. She talks with her as she works on her homework and is the only company she has at the table as she eats. She's kind and guiding and she has scolded Chloe more than once but Chloe doesn't mind. She clutches her bear to her chest as she lays in bed and Pollen sleeps on the pillow beside her bed.
When the akuma is finally defeated, Chloe is proud of herself. She goes back to her hotel and she talks excitedly about how she helped and Pollen is indulgent and listens and praises her.
And then Chat Noir comes up and asks for the miraculous back. "I--but I did a good job!" she argues, fingers holding onto the comb so tight that it's teeth dig into her palm.
"You helped us--and we appreciate it! ...but you promised. And we need it back."
"I promise I'll be better!" she cries out, tears clinging to her eyes. "Please--please, I promise I'll be good! Just--don't take her away. please!"
"Chloe," he says empathetically.
"She's my friend."
"Oh, Chloe," Pollen coos, floating in front of her. "We'll always be friends."
"Don't take her away," Chloe begs him.
Pollen comes in closer and nuzzles her cheek with a soft buzz and places small arms on the fingers that enclose the comb. "Chloe," she says softly. "We'll always be friends. Even if we never see each other again, you'll still be my sweet honey bee. But Chat needs to take me back to my guardian. You promised, didn't you?"
"Please don't leave me," she whispers, hand trembling.
Pollen gives her a sympathetic look. "I'm not leaving you, Chloe. I have to go, but I won't be completely gone. Our time together will still exist. You can always think of me! ...I'll think of you."
Slowly... slowly Chloe's fingers unfurl from their grip on the comb and she cradles Pollen in her hand to bring her up to nuzzle her head. Then she walks to her desk and she places the comb back into the miraculous box. Pollen is gone.
Emotionless... mechanically, she brings the miraculous to Chat and sets it in his hand.
"Leave me alone," she hisses at him. He hesitates, wanting to make sure she's okay. "Go away!" she yells, stomping her foot and turning her back on him. "Get out of here!" When she hears the sound of her balcony door closing she throws herself into her pillows and sobs, gagging on her tears and her own self-pity.
I imagine the guilt of taking away Pollen kills Adrien every day. Like it's 10 years later and they're engaged and he's holding her at night and he still feels sorry.
He still blames himself. Because she's never gotten the Miraculous again. She's never gotten to see Pollen again. And he knows it's not his decision and that Chloe understands what the guardian is now, but he still hates himself for the way she cried.
The way she looks longingly at bees at the flowers on their balcony. Of the moments she quietly fills her tea with honey.
One time there's a bee on the ground outside the lobby of their apartment complex and she rushes upstairs for a bottle of sugar water. It's 90F and she's out sitting on the concrete sidewalk, hand-feeding a bee sugar water for 20 minutes before it has the strength to fly off.
I feel like he asked once. Just once. It's not his decision. He was young when he asked, didn't really understand why she couldn't just keep it and they could have a third superhero. Master Fu is a quiet force of nature. His voice is calm, but holds a deadly, powerful tone that warns him about insubordination and how it's not his place. Adrien doesn't understand for a very long time. He doesn't really get it until after his father is arrested. The guardian knows the balance of the world, can feel the intentions and the worthiness of people, can tell when the world is ready and what it needs. These are things Adrien can never understand.
As much as he disagrees, he understands it's not his place. As much as he wishes he could bring her the comb Miraculous every goddamn night of his life he knows he can't and it's not up to him.
Even if she can't have Pollen, he wishes he could let them see each other again. He never asks. It never happens. But he wishes they could see each other again, if only for just a moment.
I think as they get older, as Chloe gets better, she would become good friends with Plagg. And sometimes Adrien watches them talk, sees the way Chloe takes care of his kwami for him sometimes, and he wishes, again, that she could have Pollen. She's such a good, remarkable, beautiful woman and he loves her. She would be such a good Miraculous holder. He knows this. He knows this. But it's not his decision.
Even when Nino becomes the new guardian, he doesn't say a word. It sits inside of him like an infection. Festering inside his heart and plagues him like a shadow every day of his life. He disagrees. He disagrees and wishes every goddamn day. But he never asks again.
in a happy world, she would eventually get the Miraculous again
in the real world, there's no need for her to have it
It always lingers there, like the emptiness Pollen has left behind. But Chloe has a way of letting him know that she’s better now than when she was young.
I think Nino can feel it, too, just like Master Fu has felt it all these years. The disagreement that can flip into insubordination and retaliation.
If it was any other man and woman, it likely would've. It could've been another turn in the use of miraculouses. It would've been terrifying too--the use of the cat and bee against them.
aster Fu has a harder heart, had experienced treason before. For a while, he has Ladybug report to him the behaviors of Chat Noir. Nino feels it--the way Adrien feels, but he knows, too.
Sometimes, when he, Alya, and Marinette are over, Chloe will do something and he'll feel that spike of self-resentment and disagreement again. But Chloe has a soft smile and a gentle hand and she pulls Adrien back to her every time
Adrien has all the makings for a super villain. He has every right and want to retaliate and to go against them. A father in prison, a dead mother, a lover who has been wronged by his leader. He has every right to turn on them. But he takes it all, feels it all, and fights for them anyways.
I'm imagining a scene where Chloe is standing in the streets of Paris, not really Aware because it's only been a little more than a week since Pollen has been out of her life and she hasn't been sleeping well without Chat's voice to lull her into a dreamless sleep.
So she doesn't really hear the fighting.
She's tired and she's empty and she doesn't hear the loud crashing and doesn't notice people running away. What she hears is the absolute terror as Chat screams her name. When Ladybug uses her Miraculous Ladybug, she'll come back. That's the last thing she thinks as she sees a truck flying at her. She's afraid, but somehow at peace. She trusts Chat and Ladybug to bring her back.
Then it crumbles to the ground before it touches her, rusty ash blowing across her face with the wind. Chat continues to fly through the air, nothing to break his fall but the window he crashes into. She blinks for a moment before running over broken glass.
"You idiot!" she yells at him, taking in the way he's panting, face bleeding from glass cuts. "What were you thinking?! You absolute moron. Why would you use your Cataclysm on that?"
He starts shuddering, his chest spasming through his panting. "I'm sorry," he murmurs, "I'm sorry."
Chloe kicks away glass from his arms and falls to her knees, blotting the cuts on his cheeks with the sleeves of her shirt. "You goddamn idiot," she continues, fingers trembling. "Look at you--you fucking stupid cat. Bleeding all over the place. How the hell are you going to help Ladybug like this?"
His tears are hot against her hands as he starts crying. "Chloe, I'm sorry," he sobs.
"The Miraculous Ladybug would've brought me back, you mangy cat," she says, eyes not focused on him. "You and Ladybug wouldn't leave me like that."
His body jerks under her with another sob and his warm hands curl around hers, claws digging into her hands. "Chloe, I'm so sorry," he wheezed. "I'm sorry I couldn't let you keep her. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Oh my god I'm sorry."
Chloe watches the way salty tears rolls into his bleeding cuts and he doesn't even stop. "I know," she says softly. "I know..." His ring beeps for the first time. "I don't hate you," she tells him. "I'm sorry I said that. I didn't mean it." His claws break the skin and she winces as she bleeds.
Chloe doesn't know when Ladybug finished the akuma, or how, but she hears her walk into the store they're sitting in, walking carefully on broken glass. She stops when she hears Chat sobbing. Chloe doesn't look at her. Then there's a second beeping from his ring.
"Chat," Ladybug calls, not moving closer. "Chaton, we need to go. Are you ready for my Miraculous Ladybug?" He doesn't say anything. His hand doesn't stop clutching onto Chloe.
With her free hand, she pries his claws out of her skin. "You need to go," she repeats, voice soft. "You heard her." His body trembles again. "I'll see you again," she reassures him. "But your identity--" He turns his head away and she takes this a sign that she can leave.
She stands on weak knees and walks past Ladybug, who watches her intently. It's two blocks later that she feels the magic wash over her and she stops bleeding.
ChloNoir's first kiss leads to Adrien guiltily revealing himself.
Chloe kisses Chat its unsure and a little shaky, but nice. It isn't until Adrien gets home that he's like: oh my god I kissed her and she doesn't know it's me
So the next day he finds her as Chat and she's excitedly talking about something and he keeps trying to get her attention but she just keeps talking.
"Chloe, wait I need--" She keeps talking.
"Chloe, please--" She has her back to him and her hands are moving animatedly.
"Plagg, de-transform me." She falls silent.
Her body is frozen. His stomach tightens. "Chloe--I need to tell you... I can't--I'm sorry."
His hands are gentle on her shoulders when he turns her around. Her eyes widen and she sucks in a breath. His hands fall off of her as she stumbles away from him.
What if Adrien gets akumatized because he takes the akuma for Chloe after she finds out Chat's identity?
Like she and Chat have been talking with each other for months now and she's fallen in love with him despite everything. And Adrien hasn't said a goddamn word to her about it. If anything, the more time he spent with her as Chat, the less he did as Adrien. Making her feel abandoned again.
And when he finally reveals himself to her, it's like being socked in the gut.
He knew. The whole time he knew that she was talking about him and he didn't say anything. The whole time he knew how she was feeling and yes there's a rational part of her and whispers about how she's told him not to tell her. About how his identity needs to stay a secret.
One moment, tears of betrayal burn in her eyes, the next, he has her pressed against the wall. Her breath wheezes out and he trembles, pressing his ring into her hand. "I'm sorry," he says raggedly. And she doesn't understand he tears himself away from her and an akuma transformation takes over him.
She clutches the Miraculous in her hand, suddenly understanding what happened. He couldn't let Hawkmoth get the Miraculous. Yet, even then, he took the akuma for her.
Her eyes burn as she slides the ring over her thumb and runs. She'll keep it safe. She'd protect the Miraculous and his kwami with her life. He trusted her to, after all.
I was going to write this fic for Chloe Week, so I have some ideas based on those prompts:
“Golden”: She knew something was wrong the moment he walked through the door. There was a quietness to him, as he took his shoes off at the door and hung his jacket, unwinding the light blue scarf around his neck and holding it in his hand before laying it over a hook. When Adrien turned and saw the way she looked at him, how she had paused mid-step, hands holding onto the TV remote a little tighter, and he flashed her a tight smile. He knew the moment she didn’t believe it.They were both masters of bullshitting emotions, after all.
Chloe turned off the television and left the remote on the kitchen counter. His shoulders released their tension when she turned to the refrigerator and began to pull out leftovers from the last time Marinette and Alya had cooked. Wordlessly, she scooted a plate of cheese towards him. Plagg, tucked into the collar of his shirt, wormed his way out and shot forward, engaging in enthusiastic conversation as Chloe smiled and pet the top of his head with a gentle finger.
Adrien watched them, a comfort settling deep inside of him as she laughed softly to something Plagg had said. His steps were soft and quiet. She continued to work on their dinner, only pausing when his hands settled on her hips. Without hesitation, her head tilted to the side and he pressed his face into the crook of her neck.
I was going to have this scene start it off, then have a flashback to Chat Noir being called over by Chloe when he's in the middle of a patrol and she orders him to keep her company until she falls asleep. Because she's been having nightmares.
He doesn't want to--and she gets aggressive and snappy about how if he "doesn't want an akuma tomorrow he'll help her fall back asleep". Because she's aware of how her attitude affects others.
And there's some imagery about her hair being gold in the moonlight as he watches her, in silence, because she refuses to speak to him and he's not going to make the effort either, as she falls asleep against the marble balcony. And he carries her back to bed.
It switches back to present day and he takes her hand and looks at the gold ring on her finger and tells her that he loves her.
“Hero”: It starts off with me showing how Chloe and Chat have progressed in their relationship and how he comes by her room of his free will to check on her late at night and, when she's awake, he'll stay and they'll talk about everything.
Then he's given the choice of selecting someone to temporarily have a miraculous. He chooses Chloe. She fights so well and hard with them. It takes more than one day. It's a rare akuma.
It goes back to present time and he's watching her get ready for the day, tying up her hair. And there is no comb with her.
"Favorite Ship": Adrien and Chloe go out with Nino, Alya, and Marinette to celebrate their engagement (a formal celebration, anyways, since Marinette and Alya got texted the picture of the ring within a minute of her saying "yes" and they proceeded to group call and scream on the phone for over two hours).
The girls go to the bathroom when Nino turns to Adrien. "I'll be honest, dude," he says, "I never wanted you to date Chloe. Like ever." And Adrien just looks at him. "Back in lycee I was hardcore rooting for Marinette--"
Adrien laughs a little: "Marinette? Really?"
Nino shrugs and smiles. "She had a huge fucking crush on you for ages, dude."
Adrien laughs again: "Wow."
Nino laughs with him. "But yeah. I wanted you to date Marinette--we all did. And honestly Chloe was such a bitch when we were kids? Like--I know you don't like when I talk about it, but we gotta be real--your girl was a mean person for a real fucking long time--and I get it's 100% a product of how she was raised. You had your bratty moments too."
Adrien frowns as he looks at Nino, wondering where this is going. "At the end of the day, though," Nino says, leaning towards him. "I'm really happy for you." Adrien freezes. "I'm so glad you dated her and are engaged. I'm so happy you fell in love with her. I think you've both become better people, together, with all you've gone through."
He clasps Adrien's shoulder and Adrien stares at the jade bracelet on his wrist. "I can't wait to stand next to you when you get married." Adrien smiles and reaches to take a sip from his wine. "Sometimes," Nino says, a little more to himself, but Adrien hears him, "I wonder what changed."
And then it goes back into the past and we have the Pollen scene where Chat has to take away the bee miraculous and Chloe lashes out at him.
"Friends": it starts with Chloe out with Marinette, Alya, and Sabrina as they wedding plan--it is a few months later from the celebration dinner. When she gets home, she falls into Adrien's arm and makes a remark of never getting over having so many friends. Then she looks up and kisses his chin and tells him that he's still her best friend.
It goes back to the past and it's that akuma attack where Chat saves Chloe, getting hurt in the process, and begs her to forgive him as he lies in his own blood and glass.
"Mirror, Mirror": It’s centered around how the world sees Chloe.
It starts in the past. With Adrien falling in love with Chloe. Seeing past all the layers and seeing the hurt and pain and fear she harbors deep inside of her heart. He sees how she cares, but pretends not to.
In the present, it's their rehearsal dinner and Sabrina and Marinette and Alya give speeches about how they see Chloe--about this head-strong, loud, brash, beautiful girl with a bigger heart that has only grown with age and how they love her and are so happy for her. Chloe is crying behind her hand as she hides her face from everyone but Adrien. Because she has never thought she was a good person. Not once in her life.
Adrien feels that spite again. Nino looks away from the girls and looks at Adrien, a worried frown on his face, until Chloe reaches out and touches his arm and he leans in to kiss her forehead, and that spite is gone.
"Family": Adrien and Chloe meet with her father for lunch. Nathalie is there, who has been hired by the Mayor shortly after everything fell through with Hawkmoth. She presents a blue flower barrette that Adrien has only seen in photos.
"It was Emilie's--she wore it on her wedding day," Nathalie says. "I know you don't like going into the mansion after what happened. I figured I would retrieve this for you. For your wedding."
Adrien's fingers shake as he takes the barrette and holds it in his hands. "Thank you," he whispers.
In the past, Chat finds Chloe crying on her balcony. Her father left Paris without telling her. She found out through the media instead of through him and she was crying, sobbing about how she felt like she was all alone and she didn't have a family anymore.
"My dad leaves me all the time and my mom doesn't love me and I'm all alone, Chat!" she sobs.
He grabs her. "I'm here," he tells her, his grip hard. "I'm here. You're not alone. I'm here with you." And he kisses her. And she kisses back.
"Future": Marinette puts the blue flower barrette into Chloe's hair, next to a custom made bee comb tucked into her hair. Marinette pauses and touches it and there's a moment of silence between them.
Then Sabrina hands her a bouquet of flowers and Chloe lets out a nervous breath.
"Cold feet?" Alya teases.
Chloe lets out a tense laugh. "Nervous feet," she says, stomach fluttering. "Feels like bees in my stomach."
"Come on, Honey," Marinette says soothingly, rubbing her arm before reaching up to rearrange the lace of her dress. Alya lays the veil over her face and Sabrina stepped behind her to pick up the train of her dress.
There's only been one other time she's felt this scared of what lay behind another door.
In the past, Chat reveals himself to Chloe. And akumatizes himself to protect her. Places his ring into her hand and tells her to run. She can hear his screams, hear him fighting the transformation as she runs down the street. She clings to the ring so hard her knuckles are white and her hand trembles.
Chloe hides in a dark closet. Can hear him screaming for her. Can hear him cursing Chat Noir--himself. Can hear Ladybug trying to fight him.
Then everything falls quiet. and she hears footsteps leading up to her door. She's so scared she can feel her heart in her throat. It opens and there's Adrien, akumatized, in front of her. "I didn't know I would fall in love with you," he says, and he's crying, she realizes. "I didn't know. I didn't... mean to lie."
"I know," she whispers to him, keeping her hands closed tightly around his ring.
A week later Chat comes to her balcony and falls onto her bed with her, kissing her. They have talked, for more than one day. And there was sure to be more talking to be done.
She's laying in his arms when he releases his transformation and he kisses her again. "I love you," he tells her. Chloe laughs.
"I love you too, Adrien."
"One day," he tells her, nuzzling her neck, "I'm going to marry you."
Chloe slaps his arm playfully, before her creased brow falls away and she grins at him. "Next time, I expect a better proposal."
Back in the present, Adrien and Chloe get married.
This drabble with Chloe and Chat Noir is dedicated to @goldensmilingbird to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY month! I hope your September has been amazing!
___
“I could’ve made that a whole lot easier, you know.” Chloe shut down the Queen Bee spotlight, turned her back on Chat Noir, and started towards the access door as if she was going to leave him standing on the roof by himself. “I don’t know why you’re bothering to come here after the battle.”
“Come on, Chloe. Don’t be like that. Ladybug and I are just trying to keep you safe.” Chat Noir followed her and reached out for her arm, but she stepped further away with a huff and spun on her heels.
“Wouldn’t I be safer if I had my Miraculous at all times?” She glared at him. “It isn’t fair that you get to keep Plagg and I only get to see Pollen for a split second before I’m thrown into the middle of a disaster and she’s taken away all over again. And how come that silly fox and turtle get to help you so much but I can’t?”
He hung his head. “I’m sorry. It’s not my call to make.”
“Whatever. I don’t even care anyway.” She crossed her arms. “It just sucks in general, that’s all.”
“You really like Pollen, huh?”
“Of course, I do. She’s as amazing as I am.” Chloe flipped her hair. “Why?”
He shrugged. “I really like Plagg too. He’s important to me. I guess I didn’t realize you felt that way about your kwami.”
She didn’t respond but went to the patio couch near the railing and sat down. Chat Noir followed her lead and took the other end of the couch. They both looked out over the city as the sun began to dip below the horizon.
“Are you lonely, Chloe?” His voice was soft but there was emotion behind his words. The question wasn’t a casual one and they both knew it.
She stiffened but the fight leaked out of her as quickly as it had come. “Yes,” she admitted. “It was nice having Pollen around all the time, even if it wasn’t for very long.” She finally looked back at him and saw something she recognized in his expression. “That’s how you feel about Plagg, isn’t it? You’re lonely too.”
“Him coming around changed my whole life.”
“I know what you mean.” She returned her attention to the sunset. “It is just so much easier to talk to her. People are...”
“Hard,” Chat Noir offered.
“Stupid,” she corrected.
He chuckled and shook his head.
“I don’t know how to act around them, I guess.” She studied her nails. “So sometimes it’s just easier to not need them around and obviously it’s their fault if they don’t want to spend time with me.”
“I don’t think I can give any advice about making friends. It’s harder than it seems.”
“Mmm.”
“And I can’t promise anything about being able to bring Pollen to you more, but maybe you and I can spend time together sometimes,” he said hopefully.
Chloe quirked an eyebrow in his direction and Chat Noir felt his cheeks heat beneath his mask.
He held up both hands. “I mean, we can both feel lonely together and maybe somehow it’ll help?” He pasted on a sheepish smile and she laughed.
“Whatever. I guess you’re not as annoying when you aren’t around Ladybug.”
“Thanks?” He shook his head. “I was about to say I enjoy your company but now I’m not sure I want to.”
“You already said it so no taking it back now.” Chloe fluttered her eyelashes at him. “Do you want to stay for dinner? I can get Jean-Claude to bring us something up.”
Chat Noir stretched his legs out and let his boots fall on the coffee table with a thud. “That sounds purrfect.”
“Ugh, this is going to be the worst,” Chloe groaned even as she scooted a little closer to rest her head on his shoulder.

Adrien x Chloe, this is a ship that throws nearly the whole fandom into disgust and with screams of, why. But honestly, this ship appeals to me and this is just a few reasons why.
I feel that Adrien and Chloe could really understand each other in a way that no other person could. They both come from wealthy families, their parents are famous and important people, their superheroes, but above all else the family issues they face - both of them know what it's like to have a parent you feel doesn't love you, that they don't care, that they're always too busy, and someone you can't really talk to. Adrien and Chloe can understand wanting their approval, recognition, to be noticed by them, to make them proud, and just to be with them; have quality time together, because they both have gone through it. Not to mention the hurt of not having such important family not be present during their lives. And when one is still a child, that is, of course painful, even if you get older, it can still hurt.
This can serve as a method for Chloe and Adrien to have a very healthy way to have open and honest communication with each other, to build trust, to have a support system - a person who can truly and I mean truly understand you in a way that no one else could possibly; in a way that you don't even have to speak, they just know because they have lived through the same thing. And this can also be a great way to bond and heal open wounds.
And with all the horrible things their parents have done, their parents will have to pay for their actions no matter how much it hurts. (Chloe calling her mom out on how she has treated her or It being revealed who Hawk Moth really is, for example). Yet, despite all this they still love their parents despite all the grief they have put them through. Knowing that yes, they have to pay, but it still being painful to see a loved one in such a situation because nothing changes the fact that they're family and they will always love them, no matter how big or small that love may be, no matter how much pain or confusion or questions, is mixed in there, as well. And that's okay and completley valid to feel that way. They are and should be allowed to feel that way. I think no one else could understand all of this better then Chloe and possibly Adrien (depending on what the writers decide).
Not only that, but Adrien could help Chloe become a much better person and Chloe could help Adrien too. (Let's be real, as Cat Noir, he acts as a very different person - more outgoing, more confident, and flirty). Chloe could potentially help Adrien to become more like who he really is inside and not have to hide behind a mask because who cares what others think. We're both fabulous and perfect the way we are lol.
Plus, these two have known each other since kids! How cute is that! Imagine all the potentially cute sceanrios. Adrien clearly values Chloe as a person and as a friend. He has stood up for her many times and was even so sad when he thought she left Paris for good. And despite the obvious crush Chloe has on Adrien and her 'I'm better than everyone' attitude, this girl does have a heart. it's obvious she does care for Adrien in her own way. She may just have a hard time showing it in more healthy and subtle ways, than how she always pounces on him. Lol. If Chloe was such a horrible person, I doubt Adrien would keep being friends with her. I mean we pretty much saw this in canon. But Adrien knows her in a way that no one else does. And he knows the real Chloe that no one else bothers to see behind all that snark and attitude; his first friend who was most likely there for him a lot.
Just, guys, this ship has so much potential to be something, so deep, complex, and real.
Chat Noir adjusted the blindfold on Chloe to ensure she couldn’t see anything.
“Wouldn’t want to ruin the surprise, now would we?” he asked her playfully.
“Well, no!” Chloe giggled.
“Hold on to me. Don’t let go.”
“Okay.” Her hands wander, trying to find his shoulders. She wrapped herself around him and held on tight. He scaled the Eiffel tower and reached the top.
“You can take the blindfold off now.”
As she pulls the cloth from her eyes, she catches a glimpse of the ground. She groaned inwardly. She wasn’t exactly afraid of heights, but being atop the Eiffel tower wasn’t the most comfortable feeling. She pulls the blindfold off completely, and sees a small table with two lanterns and a candle in the middle. She lets out a small gasp.
“You did this, for me?” she asks.
“Of course. Now we will light them when the sun sets. We have a little time, so we can sit and enjoy the view.” Chat takes her hand and brings her close. They sit on the edge together. Chloe watches the sun set, and Chat watches Chloe with a loving stare. He soon forgets what time it is, and looks around.
“The sun set. We can to light them now.”
They both pick a lantern up, and using the candle they light them together. As they send them off, Chloe notices that more are being sent off underneath them.
“Did you do that too?”
“Well, yes. Anything for my girl.”
Chloe felt, in the first time in a long time, truly loved.
