Aziraphale (the version you want :=))

Oooh, I’ve never done him!! (I mean… argh no) …right, let’s go for show!Aziraphale, because it’s him I fell in love with first.

Favourite thing about them: how soft he is. He’s basically a hobbit. He’s fluffy and pudgy and queer and absolutely unapologetic until that arsehole Gabriel shames him for it. Also he’s not kind, not exactly? But he loves with all his heart.

Least favourite thing about them: the fact that it took him 6,000 years before he admitted that he didn’t want Armageddon to happen and that he and Crowley were friends husbands LIKED EACH OTHER, for god’s sake. (granted, considering what would Happen to him if he asked too many questions… it’s understandable.)

Favourite line: I mean, it would be way too easy to go for his “oh, fuck” :D When Shadwell barges in and barks, “You monster! Seducing women to do your evil will!” and our angel, very seriously and very politely, replies “Oh I think perhaps you’ve got the wrong shop.” Just… The phrasing. The delivery. The “This man has horrible timing but now THIS is completely ridiculous” look in his eyes. It’s hilarious.

brOTP: Crowley.

OTP: CrowleyCrowleyCrowleyCrowleyCrowley. I have rarely shipped something as hard as I ship these two.

Random headcanon: absolutely has been the protector of LGBTQ+ people ever since laws and religions started hating on them, and his bookshop has been a refuge for many a lost youth in search of warmth and human decency, or scared people running from the police. Aziraphale is something of an urban legend in Soho lore. 

Unpopular opinion: He’s not very good with children. They’re sticky and loud and unpredictable and Crowley is much, much better at handling them. 

Song I associate with them: Dead Sara’s “Heaven’s Got a Back Door” when he finally says “no, I’m not doing this”. “I’m through feeling sorry / For the things that I can’t choose / If I made it this far being who I am / Maybe heaven’s got a back door too”.

Favourite picture of them: well, first I thought of his Look™ in the Bastille, or the Longing Gaze in the church, but then -

what is your favorite child/parent relationship with Bruce? : o

Bruce and Cass is always my favorite, by far. It’s got so many complexities and stuff, too. 

But I really do appreciate all of them in their own ways. I probably reflect on Bruce and Dick’s relationship the most after Bruce and Cass, but all of the Batkid relationships are awesome in various ways.

sexuality headcanon: Bi, but I think it’s something he hasn’t really realized about himself yet. I think when he was younger he was mostly aware of having crushes on girls, and now that he’s in a committed relationship with Annabeth, he doesn’t think that much about other people in that way at all, beyond a passing “Oh hey, this person is really hot”, etc. So I think it’ll take a while for him to realize he notices other guys in a way that straight boys don’t. 

otp: It’s honestly really hard for me to picture him being with anyone but Annabeth.

brotp: Sally, Nico, Grover, Jason, and Hazel (the last one is a really underrated one, I think!)

first headcanon that pops into my head: His friends made endless Aquaman jokes about him when the Aquaman movie came out, but that didn’t stop him from really enjoying the movie.

one way in which I relate to this character: I’ve had a lot of trouble doing well in school too, though for somewhat different reasons.

5 times Nico di Angelo was the best boyfriend ever and one time it was Will

1. That time Nico beat up six Roman soldiers effortlessly and in less than a minute while looking about to faint, and then got pissy at Will. They weren’t boyfriends yet, but that’s when Will definitely confirmed that Nico di Angelo would make the best boyfriend ever.

2. That time Nico held down a patient while Will reattached their leg. Unsqueamishness is a critical trait for healers’ boyfriends. Also, strong arms.

3. For similar reasons, that time Nico gave Marisol (youngest known daughter of Apollo, at six months) her bottle and helped her burp and didn’t care that she vomited all over him.

4. That time Nico came back from a Hades trip with a message from Will’s mom and having learned her recipe for the cookies she made when Will was a child.

5. That time Nico went to ask Apollo for a doctor’s note saying Will had contracted a rare magical disease and that the only way to cure it meant that Chiron absolutely must allow Will to take a vacation to Hawaii on this specific date that just so happened to correspond to their anniversary.

1. That time Will turned to Nico and said, “Hey, Percy Jackson’s coming over here, we should make out.”

Seriously, I’ve got my share of criticisms with how it was handled, but goddamn am I glad he’s more than a shock value stunt and a cautionary tale. He was a good Robin, and he deserved better.

And while I find the execution flawed, the idea of Jason as an anti-hero has a lot of merit. It’s finally reaching its potential in current RHATO.

Though sometimes I just want them to have a break (after Weirdmageddon). I want them to have some peace from all the stuff they’ve been through on the Stan o war. xD

Aw yeah!! Let’s do the disaster demon nerd :D

Favourite thing about them: he flails. Constantly. And yet somehow keeps it together? I mean, he’s just so - he designs things that make Londoners’ lives difficult and yet he lives in fucking London. How. WH Y Y. Can he be so much of a hot mess and still function. (Also he loves humanity and Aziraphale SO MUCH and characters who love people and things very much is a major weakness of mine.)

Least favourite thing about them: probably designed the kind of things that make your life hell in petty, small but shitty ways.

Favourite line: The first line that came to mind is just before the Flood, when his face crunches up and he says “not the kids, you can’t kill kids”, you can feel the way he’s taken aback and outraged but feels he shouldn’t because he’s bad, ya know, except how bad are you when the Good Side kills kids!? But his most Relatable line is when he randomly exclaims “DUCK! That’s what water rolls off of” because boy, I feel that.

brOTP: Aziraphale.

OTP: AZIRAPHALE. Everything that applies to Aziraphale applies to Crowley.

nOTP: eh, not Aziraphale?

Random headcanon: gender, sex and sexuality baffles him. If you ask him whether he’s a man, a woman, non-binary, his brain will go “!??!?” He’s a demon. (and married to Aziraphale but shh)

Unpopular opinion: did destroy the first plant that failed to thrive. (and then felt so bad he did not destroy a single plant more.)

Song I associate with them: Queen’s “Somebody to Love”. I mean. It’s iconic. (and heartbreaking)

Favourite picture of them: Aziraphale’s was because it made me laugh so much. Crowley’s is because it made me cry.
