I gotta know:
How the heck do you block someone you don’t know? Isn’t that the point of them being “anonymous”? So if you don’t know their account (because they’re anonymous) how can you block them?
Please don’t block me I’m just confused😭
No reason to block you, polite question out of genuine curiosity is not something I'd ever dream of blocking someone for.
Person that sent this is a really good friend and she was also tipsy and sent it twice so I just left it.
Tumblr still knows where the ask came from, so they take care of that part.
Sometimes you do find out too, had a mutual in law thought it would be funny to send me some not so kind asks and after a few I got tired of it and said you're gonna get blocked.
They thought that was funny I guess because in came another one.
Few days later I get a DM from the mutal wondering why I'd blocked that person, was still back when posts from blocked blogs still showed on your dash they couldn't reblog mine, told them the only person I'd blocked in the last month had been the irritating anon.
anon blocks you can't take back, if they showed up in your blocked blogs it wouldn't be anonymous so I don't think there's a way to undo it.
For not tumblr users the IP gets blocked from interacting with your page.
It's one of the nicer features that tumblr included with the anon button, jackasses can still get blocked
