What’s up I hate digital art but I refuse to give it up because I dunno efficiency or something I guess. Decided recently that after literal years of inevitably comparing my digital art process with my traditional art process I should just give up trying to make digital art work traditionally and instead treat it as a separate medium--like what I do with my MS Paint pieces. Also maybe I shouldn’t even attempt to do the stuff I hate doing--like full line art.
Apparently, water is also wet. This was so much more fun than what I was trying to do. Will this lesson stick? Unlikely.

Row 1: Monkie Kid screenshot redraws. I wanted to work on diversifying faces and playing with new facial feature shapes.
Row 2: My journey in figuring out my art style--Red Son profile, obligatory Leo in a Sonic pose, and a buncha Bruce Waynes.
Wtf is a consistent art style
I don’t even like monkeys
Ok real talk though? WIPs are every bit as beautiful and important as the finished piece. They’re the natural journey of your hand and mind bringing a whole image out of your head and into the real world. The thought process behind a craft that doesn’t require words.
They’re just neat. I like WIPs.
Look at you go,
I just adore you.
I am....really tired of working on this....
but I am.... really sad to see this show go after all this time...
Sad, and happy to see the story fleshed out so well.
So glad to have gotten a show such as this, it can’t be replaced.
