Can i just be clear about one thing? There is absolutely no such thing as 'cis women have it hard too'. The reasons people are outwardly discriminated against in a gendered way is because they are READ as female, feminine, gender non conforming or queer. There is nothing that a cis woman will be subjected to that trans, gender non conforming and queer people can not also experience, plus a whole pile of transphobia and gender feels crap. If you address the needs of these people, cis women's needs will be addressed too. This is why feminism on the whole right now is fucking useless. This is why we do not need one fucking session on trans issues. There is NO NEED for ANY conversation about gender that focuses solely focuses on the experiences of cis women. Repeat: THE NEED FOR IT DOES NOT EXIST.
