I don't want to talk about the 1000 days because I died a thousand times over during those days. They ripped my soul from me, took my sanity, and killed everything beautiful I saw. It's just a number the world talks about today and forgets tomorrow, even though tomorrow will be worse because it's 1001, meaning tomorrow there will be death, hunger, fear, poverty, and oppression. People hate trans men so much that they outright fabricate events to justify their hate. I just had someone tell me, when I asked how the "trans man was whining," tell me that his girlfriend said it. When I pressed how his girlfriend explaining the situation was him whining, I get "because she was explaining what he said to the bouncer, are you dense?" I said that the OP clearly said the bouncer never spoke to him, and she never mentioned him speaking to her. "Well I misremembered one small fact that doesn't disprove my point" that was the majority of your point... This is just TODAYS example of such fabrication
reinstalled shinigami eyes to take a look at the damage and it's so much worse than a year or so ago when i deleted it. virtually every intersex blog i know of regardless of how they feel about tme/tma is marked red unless they are especially vocal about liking it, countless trans men are marked red regardless of whether they are vocally inclusive, most who are marked green are either famous guys or are (somewhat) infamous for their transphobia and exorsexism if not also racism.
Plenty of transphobic cis folks are green. Virtually every trans-positivity account is red except for the ones who are unapologetically transphobic to at least part of the community. Countless trans women who vocally uses the term transandrophobia are marked red. Several trans women who dont even use the term but have at least on one occasion defended or sympathized with trans men are red. Several trans women who are bigender/NB/Etc with inclusion of any "male" or masc terms are red regardless of whether they seem to have anything to say about trans men.
It is BLEAK. I've been trying to remove reds and greens as I assess, but it is really really gross that it was a pretty well-known soft rule a decade plus ago that you didn't mark trans people red at all even if they were shitheads, unless they were actual proud terfs, because the flagging was guaranteed to isolate them from community.
Inability to assess risk and a total aversion to narratives that contradict what you assume to be the case for others is getting people into a lot of trouble.
Shinigami eyes is completely dead and less than useless, but since so many people still seem to trust it, I do not want people to keep getting flagged as violent evil transphobes cause they started identifying as genderqueer.
ok to call out my own community a little. We have to get more vocally anti-TERF. They are not our allies, they are not our sisters in arms, they are not part of the discussion against transandrophobia. Too often I have seen TERFs in my notes, wrongly believing my readiness to call out transandrophobia was indicative of some transmisogyny I hold and seeking to ally themselves with me as a result. It is not transmisogynistic to want to uplift transmascs and trans men. This is rhetoric I have seen coming from transandrophobes who claim to be transfeminists and transandrophobes who are trans-exclusionary feminists, albeit in different lights.
I cannot stress enough that TERFs and their ilk are not welcome on my blog and never will be. We need to get more vocal about excluding TERFs from our space. It is not transmisogynistic to stand up for trans men, and they have no community here. Never forget the trans in trans-exclusionary radical feminism means trans men too. They do not wish well for us. They seek to detransition and abuse us much the same as the patriarchal conservatism feminism is supposed to stand against.

My friend Wesal (@deemagaza) doesn't speak English. The only way she can find her way around the English internet is by using Google Translate or ask others like me for help. It is very difficult for her.
Yet she has no choice but to do so for her daughter Farah, almost sixteen now, who is autistic and has a kidney problem that - without treatment - makes her deficient in potassium, which, if it becomes too severe, can lead to cardiac arrest.
^ Farah spends most of her days like this now, feeling uncomfortable in her body, but not understanding why.
Farah's medication has become unavailable in Gaza, which has endangered her life and means she has to be treated in the hospital, which is costly and where they are running out of resources as well. Farah's case has now been referred to the WHO to be transferred abroad. If the opportunity for evacuation arises, we must make sure the funds are available!

it’s a little bit ridiculous that the trans erasure discourse has ended at any place except “erasure, similarly to all transphobia, is a thing that happens to both transmascs and transfems but looks different person to person”
the annoying thing is it’s not even hard to never miss. you just go “idk i think it depends” to anyone trying to make hardline statements about trans people and assume that if a trans person can be oppressed in some way that every trans person and quite a few cis people can also be oppressed that way. this shit is so fucking easy and everyone on here is so bad at it
