my prediction of the battison trilogy
yes im assuming its going to be a trilogy and im skeying things into what i would like to see.
so things we need to know
1. robert pattinson and co have expressed interest in doing a death in the family
2. the first movie is essentially batman year one but heavily reworked.
we cant just open on death in a family we havent even had a robin yet. and killing jason in the same movie he was introduced in just doesnt make much sense.
so we open right where we left off. gotham is flooded or recovering from it. making this an extreme rework of No Man’s Land. lets say theres someone stealing aid supplies calling himself robin/robinhood. that gets us the robin connection without sidelining into dick grayson (love the man but hes the defult robin. battison verse is very much not a default batman). we can still make joker the main antagonist of this film just for the branding and to make people who know about death in the family nervous.
you could also probably introduce an already disabled barbra gordon as a fledgling oracle.
lets introduce Cassandra Cain in this one a real one. can beat anyone in a fight, can barely string a sentence together full of life and full of attitude. we could even make David Cain the main antagonist. David in this one (or who ever is the main antagonist) kills jason in this one. thats right this ones the death in the family.
at serveral points i want to add you can see a kid following them on the roofs taking pictures or something. at the very end of the movie, after jason is dead and its established that cassandra and bruce are kind of feeding on each others angst and intensity, we establish that kid to be tim drake,
you could even through steph in there as someone else doing the same or just reference the cluemaster or something
