Ghost and Soap have odd relations with sleep. Ghost doesn’t sleep in places he’s not a 100% secured in due to nightmares and feeling in control of his environment.

Soap doesn’t sleep in front of people as he hates people seeing his face while he sleeps. It’s kind of a paranoia thing and so when Alejandro or his other teammates fall asleep while they’re in a room together where he can see their faces he considers it a huge honour and is touched by how much they trust him.

Ones an insomniac by habit, the other by choice.

But when they DO sleep, it takes way too long for them to come to their senses. Which leads to so many hilarious and touching moments. For example:

Ghost: Soap this is my room sleep somewhere else

Soap *already fast asleep sprawled across bed*

Ghost *shakes him*

Soap *half asleep and mumbling in Scottish before slowly rising into a sitting position with his eyes closed. Promptly falls back asleep and crashes on Ghost’s shoulder*

Ghost:

Price *groggy but tense*: Simon what’s going on why’re you calling? everything okay?

Ghost *whispering* : Soap fell asleep on me.. what do I do?
