unpopular opinion about deadpool 2 (spoilerz)

As one can tell from my tag, I'm proudly bisexual. I love and enjoy LGBT representation whenever I can get it. And im among those who jokingly call it "20-gay-teen". Note because of this and other reasons, I was uber excited to watch Deadpool 2. The first one was a favorite of mine, and the sequel was supposed to include footage of a newly upgraded favorite mutant of mine: Negasonic Teenage Warhead. I was also excited to see a canonly queer superhero kick some ass with her equally powerful girlfriend, Yukio. However, as I watched the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and humor but was super disappointed with two of the characters. Negasonic and Yukio were present, occasionally and used their abilities at some point in the film. But it felt like they had been reduced to their relationship. When Wade wakes up in the mansion, he sees the broody teenager and her girlfriend with the expected sarcasm and wit. But from then on, that's the majority of interaction. Just the Couple showing up and showing their relationship. Now, I'm all for inclusion of LGBT characters in films, but i felt like just using this "power couple" im the film was all a matter of device. They were there to show that they were in fact "queer-and-here" (probably really bad use of that, but considering its 4:30 am over here, ill forgive myself) and thats it. As much as I appreciate the Canonly queer mutant pairing. I wish I could have seen them kick some major ass all throughout the movie or at least as much of Colossus beating up Juggernaut. Now THAT would have been some pretty badass gay representation.
