It's like how conservatives regularly insist that businesses have every right to discriminate when deciding who works for them but shit themselves when a business won't hire unvaccinated people.

Alex J. Pretti: Synopsis of the Thoughts Behind his Murder
The logic behind Pretti's execution was this (in the minds of the ICE/Gestapo agents):
If we shoot him before we disarm him, he will realize that he is being murdered and he will likely shoot back to defend himself. However, if we disarm him first, then we can all take a few shots at him and happily watch him bleed to death - that should be a good enough warning to the rest of these "domestic terrorists" [protestors].
IF YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP, THIS IS WHAT YOU VOTED FOR (AND YOU KNEW EXACTLY THAT THIS IS WHAT YOU WERE VOTING FOR). THE BLOOD OF MANY INNOCENTS IS ON YOUR HANDS.
One problem with Hindus (especially conservative ones) is that they support various gender expressions and identities as long as it's related to mythology
Like we see girls in drag cosplaying Krishna and that's widely accepted. They do drag for other mythological characters as well. We see men in drag in mythological theatrical productions but if a man is in drag that's NOT related to mythology, he'd get shamed. Same thing with men being and acting feminine (no doubt, positively in this case) as long as it's related to a mythological act, or scene. Graceful male traditional dancers for example, are fine. But if that same man dances "femininely" to a Western song, he gets called slurs.
And then the trans topic is an entirely different topic.
Ykwim?
Yeah, IKR?
Vishnu turns into Mohini to get the Amrit from the Asurs? A-OK
Lakshmi having feelings for Her Narayan even in that form? *Le gasp* Paap! Anuchit! Dandaniya!
Men acting/looking feminine? *Insert all the hu mofo bian insults you can think of*
Ardhanarishvar being partly both Male and Female at once, and hence neither as a whole? *BrIlLiAnCe Of SaNaTaN dHaRmA!! Rahhh!! InInIn!! 🦚🦚🦚*
Non-binary people? Intersex people? *ThEy ArE (r-slur) pEoPlE wItH bRaInRoT fRoM pRoPaGaNdA!!!*
Don't these people love yapping about their favourite scriptures? Don't they read them? Don't they know that Para Brahman (I'd have said Debi, but not everyone is open to accepting anything besides what they've stuffed in their craniums for so long, so generalising...) is in everything in this Universe?
I don't mean only humans, or even living beings. Every atom is supposed to hold Para Brahman, the same way They hold the Universe within Themself
Real Talk:
Dear conservatives, turn in your Gadsden bumper stickers. As you saw what happened in Minneapolis, Alex Pretti was executed for having a holstered gun. So the Second Amendment don't mean anything to you guys. All your freedom is forfeit under your favorite politicians. If this was done under that nigga Obama or the bumbling idiot Biden I bet you'd have something to say then. Rightfully so. But under Daddy Trump, mum's the word. Milquetoast doesn't even describe you red Democrats, y'all just full of shit.

Right-wing conservatives keep saying that telling a nonbeliever they're going to hell if they don't 'repent' is totally okay, because "religious people have the right to express their opinions and beliefs even if it offends others".
But if you have the nerve to say eternal damnation is manipulative, abusive and a morally bankrupt concept, conservatives will freak out and accuse you of "going against their freedom of speech".
The amount of hypocrisy among right-wing religious conservatives is fucking nauseating.
There's something so annoying about conservatives and centrists accusing left-leaning folks of living in an echo chamber, but then the moment we criticise and hold our own accountable when we fuck up, the same conservatives and centrists will use it as an example of "the left cannibalising themselves". So, what is it? Are we mindless sheeple or divisive argumentative assholes, pick a script??
