I don't talk about it often enough, but I LOVE the bassoon.
However, my dream, and I truly mean my ideal, dream instrument, is the contrabassoon. It's like a normal bassoon, but an octave lower.
The bassoon sounds beautiful, but the contra sounds beautiful. It sounds so much more elegant. I want this post to be a contrabassoon/bassoon appreciation post, so I'll rb it with images of both.
bassoons.
what else do you need, it's bassoons!
