Headstand can be super invigorating 🛸 (like 5 minutes of kapalabhati for me). It also promotes circulation and stimulates the lymphatic system in unique ways. Yet the risk of putting too much pressure on the neck which--let's face it--is easy to do, can detract from the benefits. ⚠️ To get the benefits without the risks: 1.) pick another inversion 2.) practice pinchamayurasana. When you're able to know what it feels like to truly support your weight in your forearms, and you're strong enough to do it, you can likely integrate supported headstand into your practice.
