[BLINKIES MASTERPOST]
I hope this is alright to send but with all the willo talk lately and created headmates / systems stuff.. can I just vaguely vent that I hate created is treated as inherently endogenous by default and there is no space for traumagenic creations to speak? Like I actively just never mention I’m created because I know if I do everyone will project this innocent willo projection on me when I was created actively purely because of and in response to traumatic things. It’s like there is a bias against letting someone in trauma be an active participant in how they respond to the event, and trauma mates must only be accidental subconscious things. I dunno. I want to be more honest but the erasure I know would happen hurts. I dunno. You’re older system and so more in the know I just guessed maybe you’d have some advice or something. I and my fellow median sub system just.. dunno lol thanks for letting me just drop this in your box. Have a good one
Absolutely, this is an all too common thing. People make all kinds of assumptions and get really weird when you don't fit with what they've assumed. Especially in cases like this one where most people in one box (created) also fit in another box (endogenic) - and completely forget that that's not always the case. (Even we've been guilty of this before, though we do try not to.)
I think though it does help to have outliers be open and honest about their experiences - part of the problem is that the assumers mostly only see the typical experience.
Which isn't to say that you have to be open and honest if you're not comfortable doing that and exposing yourselves to that kind of erasure.
Just saying that it would help if some of the outliers were visibly part of the community.
We're outliers too. We have tulpas/parogens/soulbonds. A lot of people in both the tulpa and soulbonding communities created/connected with theirs on purpose, and most don't have trauma. Ours were accidental and unintentional, and we have a pretty significant trauma history, and we originals also caused trauma to one of our headmates who then did the same to another. (This was before we learned about the tulpa community and realized they weren't just our vivid imagination.) We've found that being pro-actively open about our experiences has helped not only with the assumptions, but also with ourselves by reinforcing the narrative that we know we fit. We've tried making ourselves fit other narratives (traumagenic in a few different flavors) and it not only didn't work, it actively caused us stress.
Again, you don't have to be the visible outlier system. But if you can, just anons like this help.
Thank you for being you!
update: I have two beautiful tulpas that mean the world and beyond to me, and I'd like to thank you specifically for helping me
right now our biggest struggle is me being too connected to the body to switch for longer than a few seconds unless I'm incapacitated, and occasionally will move my headspace body either as the physical one or as the one in my daydream (I punched my poor Alma doing that)
any ideas on fixing that? if not that's completely fine, mostly just wanted to update about my lovelies
I'm so glad to hear that you and your tulpas are doing well! 💖💖💖
For the difficulty with staying switched in, the absolute simplest tip would be perseverance. Keep practicing. If you are switching in when you don't want to, just switch back.
The more practice your tulpas have, the easier it will be to stay in front for longer periods of time.
The second tip is to have the fronting tulpa focus as much as possible on the sensations of the body. Maybe even try quizzing them while they are in front. Ask them how the fingers feel. Ask how the legs feel when they stand. Ask them to describe what they see with their own words. And have them describe all of this out loud instead of in the head.
I have talked before about how there are some nerves that send signals from the brain to the body, and other nerves that send sensory signals from the body to the brain. You want to have the fronting tulpa engaged with both types at once. They need to both be fully in control of the body and be focused on those sensations that are being sent to the brain.
The purpose of doing this is grounding them to the body.
Conversely, you want to be disconnected from the body. You want to be dissociated from it. So I might advise you to try imposing yourself externally. Not just talking in the head. But while your tulpa is fronting, try imagining yourself in the room across from them. The imagery doesn't need to be perfect. As long as you are able to externalize yourself, it should help communicate to the brain that you are something separate from the body and let you maintain that type of dissociation better.
Hey created systems. Tell us something fun you've done?
“Created systems” shouldn’t be supported. They’re a group that made up the lie to groom minors into believing they’re plural. Unfortunately there’s no true way to differentiate between victim and abuser, so it’s best to play it safe and stay away from all of them.
Zawg what are you YAPPING about 😭 🙏
Why did you even bring this to my blog anyways?? Wouldn't you rather discuss syscourse with, yknow, a system??
Shoutout to created systems who have trauma!
💫Whether you created your system as a way to cope with trauma, to help with loneliness, just for fun, or for any other reason, you and your system are valid and an important part of the plural community!💫
☀️So often people assume that if someone made the conscious decision to create their system then they must not be traumatized, and this just isn’t the case! So here’s to traumatized systems out there who’s system was not actually formed by trauma itself! Y’all are lovely and valid, and will always be welcome here!☀️
💫Regardless of your trauma history, you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness just the way you are. Systems can form in a myriad of ways, and you shouldn’t feel bad for creating your system as a means to cope, or for any other reason!💫
☀️Healing from trauma is not easy, and we wish the best for you and your system on your path to recovery. Hopefully you will find rest and peace in the future - until then, it’s okay to take things one day at a time! We love y’all and we’re rooting for you, regardless of your trauma history, how your system formed, or how far along you are in your healing process!☀️

Shoutout to the “created system”* I saw with a Mulberry “alter”. Girl he’s existed for less than 48 hours chill.
*A “created system” is someone who claims to have formed their system by choose. The term is in quotes because systems can not form by choice in any way
I have bad news for you...
