Concept: Ren and Ryuji are joking about Rem having four father figures in the form of Iwai, Sojiro, Maruki, and Yoshida. A nearby student overhears parts of this conversation and assumes Ren has four dads in one big, gay, polyamorous relationship.

The rumor swiftly spreads throughout the school. Ryuji gets jokingly chided for getting Ren into trouble again, but the Phantom Thieves mostly don't take the rumors seriously.

That is until someone googles the half heard names of Iwai and Yoshida to discover that two of Joker's "dads" are an ex-yakuza member and a corrupt politician currently running for the Diet.

The rumor explodes from there.

Maruki mostly avoids the rumor, but notices his coworkers start treating him nicer. The thinly veiled comments on "respecting his choices" completely go over his head, which leaves him completely floored when a student in the middle of a session asks him why he's dating a Yakuza member.

Iwai, meanwhile, notices his son has started acting strangely around him. When he sits him down to talk about it, the last thing he expected to hear was "when are your marrying Yoshida?"

Sojiro notices more Shujin students start frequenting his cafr, which he nonchalantly thanks Ren for. He does, however, raise an eyebrow at the Shujin kids giving him bug eyed looks when Ren calls him "Boss". Similarly, he completely misses the implications behind his regulars congratulating him for "coming out", nonchalantly thanking them for it. It's only when he asks Futaba what "coming out" means later that he regrets doing that.

Poor Yoshida completely misses the rumors until they explode out of control as he suddenly sees his mentions on social media explode, alongside tags such as "Crime Dads" and "Yoshidad".

Ren discovers how bad the rumors have gotten when he comes downstairs to find a bwildered Yoshida and Maruki alongsidevan indignant Sojiro and Iwai.

Meanwhile, Akechi is fuming that Ren gets four dads while he doesn't even have one, all while he has to congratulate the "lucky couple" on multiple talk shows.

Trevor an M taking the grandbaby to costco where the lil princess spots a new box of squishmallows but there are none of the one she wants so shes sad and Michael starts flipping thru his phone cus he hates to see his baby anything other than bubbly and then Trevor spots the squish she wants in someone else's cart so he pulls a spider-man and climbs the rows of industrial shelves so hes above the person as they pass thru the dry goods and when their backs turned he just leans down and plucks the toy from their cart before triumphantly holding it above his head as he swags back to his husbando so their lil girl can see and does her happy dance which Michael films and puts on insta because they are those sorts of grand-pas. Then they celebrate the mini-score with ice cream because fuck yes
