just the concept of regulus not knowing who he is without sirius (heavily inspired by crimson rivers when reggie thinks sirius is dead for all of ten seconds) is so moving. like this man defied voldemort, walked into the cave fully knowing he was gonna die but cannot even begin to imagine living without his older brother.

just “Regulus’ very sense of identity is stamped with Sirius’ signature.” because reggie is who he is because of sirius and he can never change that.
