summary: what it’s like to date my favorite vampire cowboy
pairing: jasper hale x gn!reader
warnings: swearing, very brief mention of sex
note: is the twilight fandom active or am i talking to myself either way i love jasper so here’s this :)
You and Jasper met at school. Honestly, you probably thought him and his family were really weird at first I don’t blame you at all.
He probably tries to stay away from you at first, scared he’ll hurt you. He’s still not got his whole blood lust thing under control so he’ll definitely try to distance himself.
When he figures out you’re his mate, he’s very exasperated. He just got over his urge to kill Bella and now his mate is a human, too?
It definitely makes him work harder to control his blood lust. He wouldn’t approach you until he was absolutely sure he had it under control.
When he does approach you, he’s very sweet and patient.
Jasper is such a gentleman !!
He definitely follows the sidewalk rule, letting you walk on the inside, away from any traffic.
He introduces you to his family fairly quickly. They’ve heard all about you anyway.
Carlisle and Esme are very welcoming and excited to meet you. They love when their kids bring home new partners.
Emmett is so fucking excited. He loves meeting new people and you seem so cool. He’d do everything he could to make you feel comfortable and at home with the Cullens.
Alice is also very very excited. She’s absolutely sure the two of you will be best friends. She’s a little over eager sometimes but she has the best intentions.
Rosalie is definitely the least welcoming, treating you the same way she treated Bella. Eventually, she comes around. She actually really likes you, she’s just a bit jealous of you.
Edward and Bella are, well, Edward and Bella. They seem excited to meet you but you’re honestly not sure.
Overall, the Cullens love you and would protect you with their lives, especially if they feel like you’re in real danger.
Jasper is really thankful that you get along so well with his family. It makes it a lot easier to tell you their secret.
He doesn’t tell you right away. He lets you warm up to his family and get to know everyone. He’d tell you around six months into your relationship.
By that point, you obviously have your suspicions. They’re all freezing cold the touch, they don’t have family dinners, they’re never out in the sunlight, and they think thunderstorms are baseball weather??
Jasper gives you a way out immediately. He swears that none of them would think badly of you if you chose to stop coming around.
Obviously, you don’t. You love the Cullens and know that they would never hurt you.
Jasper doesn’t mind turning you. He just wants to make sure that you’re completely sure before he does. He makes you do a pros and cons list before coming to a decision.
He obviously wants to be with you forever, but if you’re not up for it, he gets it. He wouldn’t pressure you to change your mind.
If you do want him to turn you, he’d definitely be nervous. He may even let Carlisle do it.
He never, ever wants to hurt you.
Jasper loves when you read to him. He doesn’t like to read a lot himself but listening to you talk is one of his favorite things.
He’s also still a little old fashioned. He wants to marry you before you sleep together and he’ll definitely ask your parents before he proposes.
He’s very nervous meeting your parents. He hasn’t had to do something like that in like a century so it’s very nerve wracking for him. Plus, he knows his family has an odd reputation around Forks.
Your parents would love him. He’s polite and courteous the entire time and he makes a really good impression.
He really loves you and he absolutely wants to spend the rest of his life by your side.
This was requested by an anon and it did hit home a bit since I’ve struggled with body image issues since I was 13 and it does take a lot on finding a balance and it’s a long and painful process. Enjoy!
T.W+ Statement. I am in no way, shape or form taking lightly the case of body image issues that will be mentioned on this imagine, it is a real struggle and so many people suffer because of it, I’m just trying to bring some light and show what I think the said character would do at this particular scenario
(Y/n) was always the bigger one of her family, weighted more than her sisters and wore two sizes bigger than her sisters, yet her sisters were the only people that had her back. Her own mother made it a mission to bring up calories and carbs every time she saw her eat something.
As she entered her teen years, things started to change and grow bigger and in her classmates eyes... uglier, fatter. She was bullied a lot and also quietly, she felt like even if she did speak to her parents they would take their side and tell her to do some extra workouts.
Eventually she did, she worked out more and counted calories and fasted, even had a few trips to the bathroom, anything that would work and get the weight of her body and her shoulders. It became a vicious cycle, she would gain and lose and do the same stuff all over again. Until she met Emmett, his face was the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes after fainting in the schools parking lot. Edward had warned him about your thoughts of feeling dizzy and thinking “get to the car” over and over again.
“Welcome back pretty lady”
It sounded corny, yet it was one of the sweetest things she had ever heard. She smiled at the best of her abilities and started looking around, slowly realizing what had occurred
“Don’t worry, no one saw”
“Except the entire school, this is so embarrassing”
As she got back up on her feet as fast as she could, darkness engulfed her for a second, a second was enough for her knees to go weak and fall into Emmett’s arms, who was more than lucky to have her there, her short and delicate human body brought him anxiety he hadn’t felt in... decades.
“Sorry about that”
“No don’t apologize, you are my damsel in distress”
“Really? then how should I repay you?”
“A date might make up for my heroic act”
-
Since then they had been a couple, she didn’t really have a choice since Emmett would show up everywhere and help her do anything and everything, he had even endured 2 hours waiting at the hair salon for her.
(Y/n) was on cloud 9, finally a man that treated her like she had only seen in her movies and cared for her. Also the fact that he was extremely handsome was a big bonus, as well as a source of anxiety for her appearance, she was so overwhelmed by her new relationship that she had not seen that she had gained a bit of “relationship weight”, for her though this was a disaster. In her mind she was already overweight, this just was the cherry on top to her maliciously rude mind.
“Babe are you ready yet?”
“5 more minutes”
Emmett was getting a bit suspicious. She had been in there throwing clothes around the room, groaning and grunting for almost 2 hours, (y/n) would usually be ready once he was there, she hated not being on time.
She hated this, nothing fitted her the way it was supposed to, she looked fat and ugly into every single outfit, nitpicking herself apart in every single piece of clothing. She was basically tip toeing around a mental breakdown, just as she was about to zip up yet another pair of jeans she heard her bedroom door open and reveal a concerned Emmett.
“Get out I said I’m not ready”
As he closed the door he looked around and took in the chaos that was her room right now, (y/n) was usually very tidy so this couldn’t mean anything good.
“I know that’s why I came in, what’s going on baby girl?”
“I have no clothes that’s what’s going on”
“Weird, I could swear I see some right there on your bed”
He tried to make a light joke that didn’t really get a great crowd reaction out of it. As (Y/n) ran around to find a shirt Emmett stood there looking at her, trying to piece things together and maybe find a way to help her.
“If you want maybe I can Alice to bring you a few pieces”
“Alice is s literal model, I will tear anything she has”
She snapped back at him. He was stepping on shaky ground and felt helpless, something that (y/n) quickly realized that she had created. She let out a deep sigh and placed her fingers on her temples, slightly massaging them
“I’m sorry, I’m just... stressed”
“About what? talk to me”
Emmett took a step and sat down on her bed, waiting for his girlfriend to come and take a seat on his lap. As she instinctively did exactly that she tried to keep some of her weight by keeping herself on her toes. Emmett didn’t even think twice about placing her entire weight on him and bringing her close to his chest.
“Do you think I’m fat?”
“What? what are you talking about?”
“I just... I am so much bigger than Alice and Bella and let’s not even go to Rosalie, they are all like... stick status and I’m just this cow that’s dating a body builder”
Emmet was left stunned, speechless. He could not believe what he was hearing, his true mate, his little delicate human, his short girl that he loved to bring into a hug and feel her getting lost in his big form, was thinking of herself as fat? They couldn’t be talking about the same girl he would pick up like she was a feather and the girl he would worry about eating and being healthy.
“(Y/n) don’t ever say that again, you are beautiful and why does it matter if you are bigger than Bella, I’m bigger than Edward too... are you calling me fat?”
“Noooo”
“Yes, yes you are. I knew it that you would leave me for someone thinner”
“Stop, I’m being serious”
“Look baby as long as I can throw you over my shoulder I will see nothing wrong with you”
His response did make her feel better but it wasn’t all fixed up, it didn’t work like that. Although it did feel nice to hear him say those things. Emmett leaned in to steal a sweet little kiss from her lips in hopes to make her feel better and comfort her the best he could.
“You are my perfect small girlfriend, I bet you look like a toothpick standing next to me. In all seriousness I have never and I will never see anything wrong with your body, you are perfect”
She smiled at him as she let her head rest on his shoulders, letting his words sink in and process them. He truly embodied everything she wanted in a boyfriend, he respected her and appreciated her to the max.
“Now, what to do you think about wearing a nice outfit and going to the movies with me?”
Prompt: “I’m not going to leave you” “I’m going to protect you”

Pairing: Carlisle X Reader
You had just been turned into a vampire. Naturally being a newborn you had an uncontrollable thirst. You hadn’t even met the one who turned you. All they did was change you and left you there in the middle of some alley way in the outskirts of town screaming at the white hot pain that took over your whole entire body. You started drinking every human that came across your path, until Carlisle found you.
That was a few months ago now you are able to control your thirst and are on a “vegetarian” diet. Being brought in by the Cullen's was probably the best thing that’s happened to you so far. You didn’t have a bad life previously, but now that you found what Carlisle described as your mate. Ironically enough though Carlisle was your mate.
There was this weird force that pulled you two together that you couldn’t describe. He knew you were coming since the moment you were turned in that empty alley. Alice, one of his adoptive daughters, saw you coming from the very beginning. You were still, however, trying to get used to Edward’s mind reading. Everyone seemed to like you. Emmett said that Rosalie will grow on you eventually.
You were all just walking back to the house after hunting when Alice stopped in her tracks. Jasper was at her side immediately.
“It’s the Volturi.” She whispered. You could see the fear in her eyes.
Carlisle glanced over at you and pulled you closer to him. “What do they want?” He asked.
“They found out about Y/N.” Edward answered for Alice. “They know about the killings.”
“What are they going to do?” You asked nervously.
“With the Volturi there’s no telling. However, they may have mercy since you have chosen to be on a strictly animal diet. Being Carlisle’s mate is also going to give you a better chance.” Jasper explained in his thick southern accent.
Everyone started to walk back towards the house, but Carlisle pulled you back so you could talk alone. “Everything's going to be alright.” he explained, holding on to your upper arms. You nodded not being to push back the feeling that your immortal life might end before you even had a chance to live it.
You sadly looked up at him, “Carlisle, what if they decide that they are better off ending me?”
“I’m going to protect you.” He whispered, pulling you into his arms.
“Maybe I should leave. I could run. I’ll get a head start and hide away for a while. Maybe I’ll come back in a hundred years or so. You would all be safer without me.” You rambled on anxiously.
“I’m not going to leave you.” He explained looking baffled that you’d even suggest that. “I wouldn’t leave you. I’m here to protect you. We all are. Alice will show the Volturi what she saw. They will understand that you don’t want to harm others.”
“What if they don’t care?” You asked.
“Then we will fight. I’m not going to lose you. I just found you. I’ve been looking for you for hundreds of years. I finally found you and I’m not going to let them take you away. Not now. Not ever.” He gently kissed the side of your head.
Once you guys walked into the house Alice ran up to you both. “Carlisle, they will be here tomorrow.”
“That soon!” You gasped. Carlisle pulled you tightly to him.
“We’ll be ready.” He explained. Everyone went out to get ready for the next day, while you and Carlisle waited in the house. As he was working at his desk you decided to browse the hundred of books on his books shelves.
You pulled out one of the really old books he had and it was a book written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Flipping through the pages you noticed that F. Scott Fitzgerald himself had signed the book. “Carlisle, How did you manage to get a signed addition?” You asked.
Carlisle immediately appeared at your side. “By asking him to sign it.” He laughed wrapping his arms around you from behind
“I didn’t think that was really that popular to autograph books back then?”
“Well typically it wasn’t but I decided that if i’m going to be around for a really long time I must as well have some really cool stories. Check this one out.” He said grabbing another old book off the shelf. “This one was signed by Emily Dickinson.” You were absolutely in awe.
You turned to face him. “Who was your favorite person to meet?” You asked.
“You.” He smiled pressing his lips to yours.
***
You stood alongside the Cullen's waiting for the Volturi to arrive. You were nervous to say the least. Jasper is helping you stay calm with his ability to change hormones. It probably would have worked better if you were still human though.
“They are here.” Edward explained. You looked ahead and watched as the Volturi got closer.
“Aro,” Carlisle greeted as the group got close.
“Ahh, Carlisle.” Aro announced. “I see you found yourself a mate.” he slowly glided over the word mate.
“This is Y/N. They will tell you anything you want to know.” He explained sliding an arm around you.
“May I?” Aro asked, holding his hand out. You glanced up at Carlisle who nodded. You gave Aro your hand. A few seconds later he dropped it. “I see.”
“Carlisle, as you know having them around could cause a lot of trouble.” He said while maintaining eye contact with you.
“They will cause no harm.” Carlisle assured.
“I’m sure they won’t. I can’t be positive though. How do I know they won’t turn on you.” He said glancing at the younger girl next to him.
“Aro, don’t. You’ve seen it for yourself. They would never hurt anyone.”
“Jane.” Aro acknowledged the young blonde haired girl.
“Aro. Don’t.” Carlisle warned. Before you could figure out what was going on you fell to the ground. Everything inside you felt like it turned to acid. It was worse than being turned.
“Aro. Enough.” Carlisle demanded. You felt your body ease. The pain subsided. You slowly stood up again. Carlisle pushed you behind him. “I will take full responsibility. I know they would not hurt anyone and so do you.”
Aro stared at you and then looked back up to Carlisle.
“I can prove it.” Alice spoke up from behind. Aro eyes lit up.
“Ahhhhh, Sweet Alice.” He basically cooed. “Come, Come.”
Alice walked forward and reached her hand out for Aro to take. Seconds later Aro dropped her hand and looked back at you.
“Very well then.” He nodded. “You can stay for now. We will however be watching you.” He turned to the rest of his group and lifted his hands in the air. Everyone turned and came back from where they came from.
Carlisle turned to look at you. Before he could say anything you pulled his lips to yours. “Now for the rest of forever.” You smiled. “I couldn’t agree more,” He laughed, pulling your lips back to his.
This is Part 3 of the Jasper miniseries. Here is Part 1.

Your finger hovered over the call button as you stared at Jasper’s name with intent. Your hairs stood on end as the chilly night air forced you deeper into the thick blankets enveloping you. The bitter cold clouded your windows as midnight approached, and the soft pitter-patter of rain splashing on the roof served as a comforting lullaby. Heavy eyelids threatened to fall as Jasper’s name blurred. You tapped the screen.
‘Hey,’
The word sat in the text box and waited for you to press send. It was the third time you had tried to contact him that night. First craving to hear his voice, knowing that his words and his time in that moment would be only for you; and then settling for a message you would never send. What if, after he felt he’d resolved everything, that would be it? No more talking? Those ideas were enough to make you shut the screen off and leave the phone on charge.
You wanted this to be a chance for a beginning, not an ending. It was his choice to not want to be with you, but that didn’t mean he shouldn’t be near you. As painful as his sheer loyalty and devotion to Alice was, it only caused you to like him more. Long forgiven were his shameless brags about his girlfriend; they made you blush when you imagined him talking about you.
As your head sank into your pillow, thoughts of affection lulled you to sleep; and dreams of soft lips and firm hands carried you through the lonely, frigid night.
*
At school, life went on. Jason proceeded to pine after Eric Yorkie, just as you pined after Jasper. Alice continued to greet you whenever she saw you, but the other Cullens had faded into the background. As you walked into your English class expecting to see your neighbouring seat empty again, somebody was already sitting there, nibbling on a pencil.
Bella Swan wore her hair in a low, messy ponytail. She tugged at the sleeves of her flannel. “H-Hey,” she said as you approached. “You’re (Y/N), right?” Your heart fluttered; not because she knew your name, but because she likely heard it from a Cullen - and you hoped it was Jasper who had mentioned you. You slid into your seat beside her, tripping over her old orange backpack on the way. She dragged her bag out of the walkway and stammered a quick, “sorry.”
“You’re Bella Swan?” You feigned ignorance. Bella nodded. “You’re dating Edward, right?”
Her shoulders seemed tense. “Y-Yeah, for a while.”
“So how come you switched classes?” Did Jasper make her so he could get away from you?
“Oh, uh, the admin ladies just said another student wanted to switch due to a class conflict, so I said I didn’t mind.” Wanted. Jasper had chosen to distance himself from you, and the reminder made you skip a breath.
“I haven’t seen Edward around today, did he skip school without you or something?” You changed the subject before you could cry, still careful to not pry too hard with Bella. This was a chance to dig deeper into the Cullens and their secret.
“Oh… he isn’t feeling well, so he’s at home.” Bella Swan was a terrible liar. She had so many tells and nervous habits, you couldn't believe her father was the chief of police. Bella stopped tugging at her flannel sleeves and instead rolled them up to her elbows. You would never have seen it if she hadn’t raised her arm to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear—but there it was; clear as crystal. A scar marred the inner side of her wrist; lighter than the rest of her skin and raised. A human bite.
*
Never had you noticed, despite all your pining for the Hale boy, that none of the Cullens ever ate anything. Emmett and Rosalie’s trays held a few pieces of fruit, whole and untouched, until Alice and Jasper joined them in dumping their food in a nearby trash can. They never eat or go to the bathroom. You had thought more about how safe your thoughts were and deemed that most evidence you had towards mind-reading pointed at Edward. It was Edward who put words into your mouth—and even Alice pointed her finger at him in the phony story she had tried to feed you. You would test that theory today and not hide your thoughts to see what would happen.
Reciting the proof you’d gathered in your head, there was a word on the tip of your tongue. A very strong accusation—one that was mythical and insane, but you couldn’t shake the idea since you saw Bella’s bite mark. The notebook on the table was open to your ‘Cullen’ page, and you were near enough to observe their irises from where you were sitting. You just needed to act nonchalant about it.
You hadn’t updated your notebook for a week as you hadn’t gotten close enough to any of them to have a proper look. But your table was only ten strides away from theirs. You clicked your pen. Monday, Emmett, gold. Jasper, gold. You took a bite out of your sandwich, creating a gap in glances so as not to draw their attention. Rosalie, gold. Your heart was racing. Alice, gold. You glanced back at the previous entry just to be sure, but the black ink told no lies. Rosalie and Alice’s eyes had changed. Your hand moved, and the words formed on the paper in front of you.
Get close, check for contacts.
It was the last logical explanation for any of it; and while Jasper’s eyes never changed, he would be the easiest Cullen to talk to today as he was still waiting to apologise and give you his own phony explanation. After lunch, it didn’t take long for you to find Jasper waiting outside one of his classes. All it took was one look for him to follow you out to a quiet space behind one of the back buildings on campus.
His Southern twang made your heart melt. “You didn’t call. I thought you weren’t ready.”
Why didn’t his biological sister sound Southern?
“I wanted to do this in person.” You took care to seem assertive, despite your teeth threatening to chatter and your palms sweating.
“(Y/N), I’m not even sure where to start…” Jasper began apologising, just as his adopted siblings and girlfriend did before him; repeating the same so-called explanation supposed to make everything go away. You tried to focus on your goal instead of the way his voice broke, or the way the tips of his strawberry blonde hair brushed against his strong jawline. Concentrating on his eyes, you were looking for a very thin line—one that would give away a contact lens. But his eyes were flawless, clear, and natural. A chill crept up your spine.
The more Jasper spoke, the more you heard that his manner of speaking sounded dated at times. It came and left like each beat of a butterfly’s wing, but it was noticeable to somebody already on that train of thought. That word that came to you earlier threatened to slip from your tongue if you weren’t careful; and you restrained it by clenching your teeth.
“I understand,” you replied once Jasper had finished reciting the script they had given him. A swift wind of courage blew through your body as you straightened up. “And I’m sorry for making you stew in guilt for this long. I guess I was just afraid to approach you.” You twisted the knife. “But even Alice said, it’s not like any of you bite, right?”
Jasper’s gaze morphed from sincerity to one that pierced through you. His body turned rigid, and his eyes squinted ever so slightly. “That’s right. We gave you one hell of an impression. But as you can see, that impression was wrong, and we’re just average people like you.” The double-edge in his words threatened to cut you. “So, there’s nothing for you to worry about.”
The suspicion that drove you suddenly came to a halt; replaced by a warm feeling of satisfaction and comfort. It was just like that time you had that confrontation with Jasper and Edward, and you felt soothed; but this time, you were conscious of it. So, you soldiered on through this strange, artificial complacency and tried to hold on to any shred of logic you had left.
“It’s weird how whenever my anger or difference of opinion becomes inconvenient for you, I suddenly feel this strange toggling of my emotions.” The cosy aura strengthened. You remained aware. “It’s almost as if you’re controlling it somehow. Just like how Edward knows what I’m thinking and Alice has no trouble finding me. But there’s nothing to see here, right?”
Jasper stopped whatever it was he was trying to do and gave you an incredulous look. “Come with me.”
He started walking, never turning back to check if you were following, towards an outline of trees in the distance that led to the forest. You walked in the opposite direction, back into the school. Now that your theory was all but confirmed, you wouldn’t follow any of his kind into further seclusion. Entering the nearest building, the gym, you sat on the bleachers and pulled out your notebook. There would be enough witnesses surrounding you to ensure your safety. You dug around in your backpack for a loose pen and clicked it.
The Cullens are vampires.
- Edward, mind reading
- Jasper, emotions, cold skin
- Bella, bite scar on arm
- Alice… extreme knowing???
- Never eat
- Never use bathroom
- All look the same, not biologically related
- Eyes change colour, no contact lenses
You slammed the book shut and stuffed it back in your backpack. Clenching your car keys, you felt eyes on you. On your hands, on your back, on your face. Fear took over your mind as abandoned all logic and raced out of the gym and into your car; darting your eyes left and right for any angry vampires waiting to murder you to conceal their secret.
This was a mistake. A horrible mistake. You should have told someone where you were going, and who you were going with so the Cullens would be accountable. The engine roared to life as you slammed your foot on the accelerator. What if they killed your family over this? You swerved, narrowly missing a police car in an intersection. Red and blue lights flashed behind you as a siren sounded. Shit. You pulled over in a side street and rolled down your window.
The officer pulled in behind you, taking his time to get out of the police car. You tapped your fingers on the dusty dashboard, checking your side mirror to see what was taking so long; only to watch as Chief Swan himself shut his car door and strolled over to your side window.
“Everything all right over here?” He put his hands on his hips. “What’s going on?”
“I’m sorry Officer—I mean Chief Swan—I’m in a hurry to get home, I’m not feeling well.” Your knuckles whitened as you clenched your fists.
“You have a licence with you?” He was holding a clipboard and a pen. The last thing you needed was a fine on top of everything else. You handed him your licence and tried to look as pathetic as possible. “Well, (Y/N),” he read your name, “must be one hell of an illness.”
“I’m really sorry, Chief Swan. I was feeling anxious at school and I needed to get out of there and back home where I’ll feel better.”
Chief Swan sighed. “I can drop you off, and my partner will drive your car home.” He gave you a stern look. “I won’t fine you this time. Just drive more carefully? Maybe let somebody else drive if you’re this stressed out?”
You nodded fast. He motioned for you to get out of the car.
The drive back to your place was silent. You contemplated asking him how he felt about his daughter dating one of the Cullens to see if he’d spill anything; but there was nothing left to dig for. Jasper didn’t have to say the word, and neither did you, for your discovery to become clear on both ends. You tried to steady your breathing as the police car stopped by the curb outside your house. Your own car pulled into the driveway as the other officer locked the door behind him and crossed his arms.
Your legs shook as you exited the police car, the other officer handed you your keys. “Go inside, get some rest,” Chief Swan said as you looked back at him. “We’ll have to contact a parent or guardian, so I’ll stop by later tonight when they’re home. You’ll be all right by yourself?”
“Y-Yeah, thanks.”
Chief Swan and the other officer watched you enter your front door before they drove away.
You scurried to your bedroom, collapsing onto your bed with your backpack still on. Hot tears burned your cheeks as they dripped down to your chin; your snotty nose forcing you to breathe through your mouth. It was dark by the time you had calmed. You slid your backpack from your shoulders and kicked it against your pillows. Wiping your face with shaking hands, you pressed your nose to the glass window and peered out. No vampires waiting to kill me.
Temporary relief washed through you. You were safe now, but what about tomorrow, and the next day? What about after that? You walked to the kitchen and filled a glass with water. The cool liquid soothed your raw throat.
The Cullens couldn’t let you go on knowing what they truly were. It wasn’t as though you would tell anybody—who would even believe you? Even now, with all the evidence you had collected and seen, you struggled to accept it, yourself. A sick laugh shook your core as you imagined storming into Chief Swan’s office at the station with theories about vampires dating his daughter. He, and everyone else in town would call you crazy. Even telling one person what you thought had the potential to ruin your life.
Your teeth ached from how hard you had been clenching your jaw earlier, and your chest felt so tight that it hurt to breathe. You finished your water and washed out the glass. It wasn’t that late yet, but after the events of the day all you wanted to do was curl up under your blankets and try to sleep.
Thump.
The sound came from your bedroom. You crept against the wall, keeping close to the shadows. What if they want to kill me right now?
You exhaled roughly. They couldn’t kill you. Forks was a small town; people would notice if you were missing. It wasn’t something that would slide under the radar… Then you froze solid. All the supposed animal attacks of the past year flashed through your mind, one by one. Wasn’t there a rumour going around about the bodies being drained of blood?
You cracked open your bedroom door, and goosebumps dispersed across your skin. The air in your room was colder than the rest of the house, and you shivered. Your eyes darted around in search for someone, but your bedroom was empty. You sighed in relief as you noticed the sound had come from your backpack falling off your bed. You walked over and picked it back up, rummaging through it for your notebook. A frown forced its way onto your face. You swore you hadn’t taken it out, yet.
Pouring the backpack’s contents onto your bed, you scattered text books and pens to the side. Nothing. You searched beneath your bed, in the space between your dresser and your wall, and across every surface in the room. Drawers were pulled and piles of clothes were frantically scattered as the walls closed in on you. If you’d lost this notebook with everything in it…
A frigid gust of air froze your back before you turned around. Your notebook was missing; and the window you knew for certain had been closed before you left was now wide open.
Tears pricked at your eyes again as you spun around, stifling a scream. Jasper Hale now stood five steps away from you, his impossible eyes burning with intensity.
Request: Could you please write a fic/hc of the Cullen clan x reader where reader has this talent where she can imitate a heap of different singers and they decide to do karaoke one day while having out with the clan, and she puts on Thunderstruck by AC/DC and sounds exactly like Brian Johnson and they’re all amused by it or something?? Idk man I know it sounds stupid. Just have fun with it lmao

They would all laugh at your excitement to show off your impersonating skills
As the song begins, you sing along - impersonating the main singer of the band. Emmett and Alice hoot and holler as you sing the opening lines, blown away at how similar you sound
Emmett would holler “Thunder” in the background as you sang along, he and Rosalie clapping along to the beat of the song
As the chorus approaches, Jasper has even stood up from where he sat and got ready for the beat drop
Esme and Carlisle playfully dance with one another as you sing along with Emmett, Edward shaking his head and chuckling to himself at the comical scene
Everyone cheers when the song ends, applauding you as you playfully bow, overjoyed at their reaction to your impersonation
“Wow Y/N I didn’t know you could do that!” Alice would exclaim, pulling you in for a hug
“That was very impressive, Y/N.” Jasper would add
“That was awesome!” Emmett hoots, ruffling your hair
It became a reoccurring event for them to ask you to impersonate different singers and have little karaoke nights :)
Request: “ Please, can you write a fluffy Jasper imagine (Twilight) for me? The reader is his girfriend and his soft spot. He can't help be sweet and careful, because he loves her so much.”
Summary: Jasper could never be a monster around her.
Warnings: fluff(?), my rusty knowledge of blood-singers, kinda jumps around
(Hey @ tumblr still waiting for my dividers back thnx)
Alice knew she would lose Jasper eventually. She had seen who was waiting for him and it mader her smile, sad as she was that she was losing him. She knew who was coming for her too, so she was hopeful. She also knew that she would be the one to teach Jasper to control himself, long before they had even met, that she would be the one who enabled him to be with his soulmate. The path she had seen where she had been stubborn and held tight to Jasper still meant he would leave, but he would be riddled with guilt after he killed his soulmate, a girl named Y/N.
~~~
Jasper always said that Alice found him. Y/N was different. She waltzed into his life after Alice sent him to get some information, insisting she had to be somewhere else. (Of course Alice knew who was waiting for him at that party.) Jasper was desperately searching through the mostly human crowd, a few vampires sprinkled in. His throat burned, though not as bad as it had when he was a newborn.
Jasper was getting fed up, frustrated as he couldn’t seem to find the vampire that Alice had described. As Jasper stopped in his tracks, ready to turn around and go back home to his clan, a soft body slammed into his.
When he turned around, his throat screamed at him, begging for a taste of her blood. Jasper knew enough from talking to Edward about what was happening, he had found his blood-singer.
His eyes raked her body, memorizing every inch of her. He felt her frustration as she apologized, scolding him for stopping so suddenly. All he could do was smile and ask to make it up to her.
~~~
Y/N was currently cuddled up against Jasper’s hard chest, sleeping silently. He listened to her heart beat and felt her emotions changed as she went through a dream.
The fire in Jasper’s throat still burned, but he had learned to mute it, shut it out so he wouldn’t hurt her. His hands gently stroked her hair, his gaze falling upon her soft, sweet face. He placed his lips against her warm forehead, fingers dragging across her throat.
Jasper had talked to Edward soon after he had found Y/N, asking for his advice in not killing her. Granted, Edward had years of experience resisting the bloodlust over Jasper, but Jasper felt just as strong about Y/N, if not stronger, than Edward’s love for Bella.
~~~
Y/N knew all about Jasper and what he was, what he could do, but she still begged for his touch, even knowing how difficult it was for him to hold himself back.
“Jasper, please just kiss me.” She begged. “Humans crave affection and right now, you’re denying it to me.” Her pretty little face turned into a pout. Jasper grinned, turning her playful and disappointed emotions into happy ones. “Stop it! That isn’t fair!” She whined.
Jasper sat her down on their couch, kneeling between her legs. “You know the rules.” He whispered, already restricting his breathing to keep the fire under control. Once she nodded and the smile dropped off of her face, Jasper slid one hand around the back of her neck and the other onto her cheek.
He got closer slowly, torso pressed between her legs. As his lips met hers, he allowed himself to breathe in slowly. The bloodlust practically smacked him in the face, but he shoved it down, wanting to make his girl happy. He wanted this too, to be able to kiss her without wanting to drain her body, to touch her without thinking of ripping her open.
Y/N had been surprisingly happy with the little touches he gave her, the fleeting kisses every now and then, even though she couldn’t touch him back, in case he needed to get away, and it couldn’t get heated, which frustrated her immensely.
But although Jasper wanted her to be happy, he would rather her be frustrated and alive than dead because of him.
After a few years of being away from his former clan, Jasper decided to bring Y/N to meet his family. He had heard Alice had found her true mate, which made him curious, but he also wanted Y/N to actually be able to know his family aside from the stories he told. She had accepted him into her life and it was time he accepted her into his.
As Jasper walked through the familiar front door, he held Y/N’s hand, holding her carefully behind his back. Laughter and chatter came from the living room, then silence as a new heartbeat filled the house.
“C’mon doll,” Jasper whispered, instilling a feeling of calm into his girl. He set her bag down at the front bench, before leading her into the madness that was his family.
Esme, of course, was the first one to embrace the girl. Her tiny arms slid around Y/N’s body, holding her tight.
“Welcome! We’ve been waiting to meet your for so long. It’s a shame Jasper didn’t bring you around sooner.”
“Believe me, it wasn’t for lack of trying. I begged Jaz to meet you, but he’s so stubborn.” The others looked stunned at the nickname, the man who struggled to be around humans for years, suddenly looked at one with love in his eyes, rather than contained bloodlust.
Carlisle introduced himself, gently bringing Y/N into a hug. The introductions followed quickly, with Alice and her new mate being last. Jasper felt awkward, what him and Alice had in the back of his mind, even though he didn’t want it anymore.
“And this is-” Jasper started.
“You must be Alice.” Y/N giggled, surprising him when she hugged Alice tightly. That went better than I thought, thought Jasper, making Edward chuckle softly. “Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for him.” She whispered into Alice’s ear, although she knew everyone could hear.
Alice smiled and nodded. “Of course, Y/N.” She turned and introduced the two to her mate, an Asian woman named Emery.
After that, Jasper relaxed. Everyone took a seat on the various couches, Y/N curled in Jasper’s lap. As the hours passed, her eyes started to droop and her head lolled against Jasper’s shoulder.
“It’s alright, little one. I’ve got you. You’re safe.” He murmured softly against her ear, arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her legs up onto his lap so she would be comfortable. She nodded softly before closing her eyes, her heartbeat slowing as she sunk into sleep, safe in Jasper’s arms.
As Jasper watched her lovingly, the other members were struck by how much he’d changed. He now felt safe to love on a human, commit to being stuck with her a mere inches from him for a few hours as she slept.
Of course, Jasper could never hurt her, no matter how much her blood called for him. He would always dote on her and take care of her, and eventually, in a few years, when she was ready, Jasper would turn her and they would stay together for eternity.
Jasper’s eyes turned to Alice, who watched the two with an amused look.
Thank you, he mouthed, earning him a smile and a nod from Alice.
Fin.
A/N: Let me know what ya think. It felt jumpy but I hope it’s what anon wanted, or something close. I also came across this lovely gif while looking for the banner:
