𝒥asper isn’t the kind of jealous that shows itself loudly at first. he’s quiet, sharp, a slow burn of tension that coils in his chest the second he notices someone’s eyes lingering on you for too long.
it’s subtle, the way his jaw tightens or his hand ghosts against your lower back, anchoring you closer without even realizing he’s doing it.
he’ll play it off as casual, but underneath he’s burning with the urge to rip the attention away from you.
his empathy makes it worse. he feels people’s attraction to you, their interest, their lingering desire like a physical weight pressing into him. he feels it before you even notice and it makes his entire body go rigid.
that’s when the desperate possessiveness really sinks in: because jasper isn’t just imagining it, he knows when someone is thinking about you the way only he should.
in public, especially around strangers, he’ll stay very close. the lightest brush of his fingers against yours, guiding you through a crowd, keeping you tucked in his side. it’s protective but with an undercurrent of desperation, like he’s terrified someone might slip you away from him if he lets go.
if you ever pull away from him in public, even for something small, like moving your hand to grab something, he’ll instantly feel a sting of panic. he’ll never voice it in front of others, but later, in private, he’ll admit in a low, almost ashamed voice:
“don’t let go like that again, darlin’. you hear me? you don’t do that to me.”
if you ever laugh at someone else’s joke, jasper feels it hit him like a punch in the ribs. not because he doesn’t want you happy, but because he can taste the smugness, the spark of interest from the other person.
and when someone flirts with you, jasper doesn’t say much. he doesn’t even have to.
one dark look from those golden eyes, sharp and warning, and suddenly the air feels suffocating around whoever dared speak too sweetly to you.
they walk away pale, unsettled, without ever realizing jasper was pressing fear into their chest until it overwhelmed them. he won’t admit it out loud, but he uses his gift to push people away from you if they get too close.
you notice it most in his silence afterward. how his gaze lingers on you with something raw, almost painful. like he can’t breathe until he hears you reassure him that you’re his.
“you don’t even see it, darlin’,” he murmurs, voice tight. “the way they look at you. drives me near insane.”
he isn’t proud of it. his past taught him the dangers of letting his instincts win, but when it comes to you? his control frays. he can’t stand the idea of losing you, of someone else even imagining touching you.
sometimes he gets so desperate it slips into his tone. low, pleading and rough. “just… tell me you’re mine. please, remind me before i lose my mind.”
at night, when it’s just you and him, all that tension unravels into an almost aching tenderness. he’ll hold you tight against him, arms wound firmly around you as if to ward off the entire world.
his lips press into your hairline, whispering in that soft southern drawl: “don’t leave me, sugar. i couldn’t take it.”
around the family, he tries to keep it hidden. he doesn’t want to look weak or unstable. but they notice. the way his eyes follow you across the room, the way he subtly shifts so you’re always within arm’s reach. alice teases him, but the truth is: his yearning runs bone-deep.
he loves when you wear his clothes. it quiets that aching burn in his chest. seeing you in his shirt or jacket makes him feel like you’re marked as his, even in a world where he can’t exactly bite you without consequence.
when you reassure him, touch his hand, look him in the eye or say his name, it softens him instantly. it’s like pulling him back from the edge. he lives for those moments of grounding, where his desperate possessiveness eases into quiet devotion.
but deep down, jasper knows: he’d raze the earth before he let anyone take you from him.
I wanted to request for Embry Call x Reader(Preferably female reader), maybe something like ghoul!Reader x Embry where she is new to forks, but once the pack is around her, she reeks of death and makes the rest of them uncomfortable, but Embry ends up imprinting on her and he loves her dearly. Angstbto the part where the pack fights about her being similar to the vampires, but she only eats the flesh of animals. Preferably, angst to fluff with Embry comforting her in the end.
If you like it, please be kind and reblog it! Thank you :)
I really really liked this idea! I am so sorry but it got so long and if you want I can make a part two? I don't know but does tumblr have a word cap or something like that? I just couldn't get to the point and yeah... Just write me if you want more of it... I tend to drag things out...
Being new in a town was difficult. Being new in a small town was even more difficult. But being new in a small town as a supernatural being, knowing that there are also supernatural beings, brought it to a whole new level. You always thought on your long life that you knew how to evade other creatures. Not all of them were kind and some had serious grudges and prejudices, even though they should be more open-minded since they are creatures humans think they do no exists.
You wished, you had known that in this small town named Forks were Vampires. They were not really that problem. You had a conversation with that doctor of them (I mean, how cool is that please?) and the air was cleared even though some of them looked at you like you were a gum to their shoes. Namely Edward. But that did not disturb you. You were here because you wanted some quiet few years, without the noise and pollution of a big city. Many animals to feed on and a humble job with nice human being.
Well, wrong. While you noticed the Vampires pretty soon because their smell was everywhere in that town, you did not notice the shapeshifters until it was too late. Well, at that time you thought, they were nice, after all they lived with Vampires beside them - their sworn enemies.
Yeah, scratch that.
The first time, they met you, it was a group of three teenage boys. In age just like you after you ate the first time human flesh and stopped aging. They did not know you and your species and thus eyed you were suspicous. A look which would follow you around. Everwhere you went, some of those kids were nearby. Soon you could smell them everywhere. Their smell resembled those of a wolf - one of your favorite hunts.
Because they did not know what you were, they did nothing but stare at you. Some had the courage to pass you, bumping into you or making you trip. Maybe it was a tactic to bully you out of town. But you had grown fond of it. Jessica and her mother were very kind towards you and showed you a good job offer you would have never seen. Chief Swan greeted you everytime you also ate at the dinner (because you still liked human food). You also helped in the hospital, bringing flowers, doing some small jobs like cleaning the rooms after a surgery because blood does not concern you.
It all changed when you had gone hunting that one day. After learning all their scents, you always did your best to avoid them when you got hunting. You could do at least a month without eating fresh meat and sometimes it is enough to go to the butcher and getting some meat there. But because of some serious stress at work and their bullying, you had grown really hungry since you had no time to hunt for over a month.
And because of that, you did not notice the scent as you tore into the deer at the ground. You noticed your mistake when you heard a growling behind you and when claws dug into your shoulder, the force pushing you away from the deer. With a paniced look you turned towards the shapeshifters. There were two. And after a quick sniff, you knew it were Paul and Seth. Paul stood before you, growling and ready to attack. Seth stood at the trees, his confusion big in his eyes and his indecision showing in his posture as he akwardly shuffled on his legs.
Seth was a nice one, talking with you and apologizing for his friends. He was very open-minded and kind. And so, you came up from your defensive form and you rose your hands just above your head.
"I do not mean any harm. I live from animals.", you began to speak. You tried to act calm but you knew the blood smeared around your mouth would not be very helpful. And you were right because Paul charged towards you and caught one of your arms. His teeth broke your skin and tore through your muscles. A cry flew out of your mouth as you tried to pull away as Paul began to shake his head, trying to sever your arm from your shoulder.
The pain made you see red, your heart quickening and your limbs shaking with withheld power. You had just fed and were strong enough to fight back but it woulkd just make it worse. But you nedded him TO GET OFF! And so you began to yank your arm back, pushing against Paul and ripping at his fur. It worked for a second and the tearing in your shoulder stopped. You could tear your arm out of his mouth, his fangs leaving a cleaving wound which got down towards your fingers as you tried to pull your arm back.
You stumbled back and landed an your behind while you looked at the wolves with terror. Before Paul could do anything, you stood up, turned and ran. The ground vibrated as you heard the paws of the wolves connecting to it. Normally you would not be as risky but you wanted to shake them off and because of that you broke out of the woods, right across the street while you hoped nobody would recognize you. Luckily there were just two moving cars and your speed was fast enough that they would not be able to see your face. Behind you, the growling and running stopped. You dared for a quick second to turn and look but you could not see anything but trees.
Healing took a long time, six weeks to be exact and you did not leave your house just once. Jessica and her mother were kind and brought you some food because you were so horribly ill that you could not go out. But now, you were completly healed and your first day at work was again. You feared what woud happen bu you had no choice but to act normal until you dound something else. Until then, you would have to make due.
Shrugging on your coat, you grabbed your keys and opened your door. Just to stop dead. Before you were Embry, Seth and Sam.
"Fuck.", was all you said as you looked each of them into the eyes. You never truly met Embry and Sam. So how did you know which ones they were? Because they were the only ones left who did not stare you to death all those months. And when you connected your eyes with Embry, you just knew something must have happened because in his eyes was true terror.
"Sam.", was everything he said, even before Sam could have begone talking towards you. Sam and Seth turned both towards him, in their gaze stood recognition.
"Well, shit.", said Seth as he fought off a smirk. "Paul will explode."
"What does he mean?", did you ask after a second of silence. Nobody reacted to your answer, totally ignoring you. Then a sigh tore through Sam and he looked back towards you.
"I cannot approve but I think we need to speak about what just happened and how we come out without hurting Embry too much.", his deep voice tore right through the heavy silence. It felt like they wanted you gone but also not? Instead of speaking again, you held your mouth shut because Sam did not seemed to want to answer you if his looks were anything to go by.
"What do you mean with that?", Embry asked, his eyes wide. "You still want her gone? She is my imprint! You can't tear her from me after finally met her! We can't kill her!", He nearly shouted in despair. Why were they talking like that about you? Killing her? Slowly you tried to take some steps back, planing on shutting the door and escaping through a window. Screw making plans and saving money. You would rather live again in a sewer with Pennywise than to spend another second in this town!
But before you could close the door, all three of them barged right in. Two of them in worry and one of them in steeled resolution.
"Oh no, you go nowhere.", Sam said as he strode towards you. Before you could even react or say a word, Embry intercepted Sam as he quickly walked to stand between you two.
"You can't do that to me and kill her!", Embry sounded desperate and like Sam would torture him. Your head was spinning with all that happening and you kind of wished, you never chose Forks as your home for the next few years.
"Run! I will find you!", Embry suddenly spoke to you. Should that be reassuring? Instead of wasting time thinking about it, you turned away, desperate to run out of this god damn town.
"You know, the others are in this area too. She is a monster and needs to go!", You were surrounded? You felt your heartbeat quicken as you stopped. What should you do? You never had to fight a whole pack of shapeshifters. They were normally rather friendly. Should you run to the Cullens and call for help? No, they would not risk their own position.
"A bit unfair, is it not? You don't even know me and are still judging. I a no monster. I am no Vampire. And I do not eat people.", you exclaimed and turned back towards Sam. You would not be able to escape, should you really be surrounded but you would also not go down without a fight.
"Sam, I beg you", Embry started as his eyes wandered wildly between Sam and you. "Let me talk to her and lead her out of here. Don't kill her. You can't do that to me. I can't survive without her." While you were still terribly confused, you were thankful that at least one of them did not want you dead.
"We can't kill each other imprints.", Seth added. Sam darkened gaze flitet across the room, taking in the scene before he began to speak.
It just stuns me how well Catherine Hardwicke directed the 1st twilight movie.
We got to remember that they did that movie, not knowing how big the fandom would be. It literally was just going to be a small indie type film about some wattpad style kind of book. 👏🏻AND👏🏻 SHE 👏🏻KILLED 👏🏻IT 👏🏻
Okay this one's my fav just because I would love to go back and live my best high school life...
Bella passionately fighting with her english teachers over Brontë and Austin, writing papers twice as long as the limit unapologetically, creating study groups just so she can rant about her favs. If people suspect she's immortal they peg her for a 15th century origin instead of her just being a newborn nerd.
Oh and she is still a newborn, only five years into her new life. She helps Jasper with his existential crisis to adjust his self fulfilling prophecy, leading him to have an easier time around humans.
Alice convinces her to join the cheer team because Bella still isn't over how graceful and agile she is now (and she kind of wants to show off a little). Alice ropes Emmett in as well so he can be their base and throw them for stunts. Plus, Alice mods their cheer uniforms to be Peak Vogue ™️
During cheer meets they tone it down but they like to practice at home. Emmett throws them so far into the atmosphere they break the sound barrier as they spin elegantly back to earth.
With endless time she's set a project to read every book in existence. She gets through one a day at lunch, absentmindedly tangling her fingers in Edward's hair while speed reading, literally. He kidnaps her page-turning hand periodically to kiss her knuckles until she pays attention to him.
Every new school they land in, she makes it a habit to find someone that reminds her of Angela and Jess and forces her friendship upon them. She has Edward find out which people they're crushing on and he and Emmett play match-maker, she asks Alice to boost their wardrobes, forces Jazz to help them relax before tests and presentations, and even ropes in Rosalie. Seeing Rosalie have an enthusiastic conversation with someone automatically makes them the talk of the school/person of interest for the year.
Every other week she rides her motorcycle to school just so she can talk to The Bois about it (and intimidate some girls bc that bisexual energy babeyyyyy). Rosalie is teaching her little by little and they tune it up together on the weekends.
She makes it a point to always be scheduled in Emmetts gym class so they can have some not-so-subtle competition with each other. They break....quite a few walls but never get caught. On badminton day, they hit the birdie back and forth a hundred times at blinding normal speed and then once at human speed.
One era, they separate to local all boys and all girls prep schools for The Drama of It All. Edward suffers, Girl Squad thrives, they meet up for the fall and spring drama productions and all participate. Edward gets a Shakespeare soliloquy, Emmett plays Murcutio, the universe is balanced. Esme is So Excited to volunteer for set design.
Put a word in my inbox and I'll write a concept/short one shot around it!
Prompt: “I’m not going to leave you” “I’m going to protect you”

Pairing: Carlisle X Reader
You had just been turned into a vampire. Naturally being a newborn you had an uncontrollable thirst. You hadn’t even met the one who turned you. All they did was change you and left you there in the middle of some alley way in the outskirts of town screaming at the white hot pain that took over your whole entire body. You started drinking every human that came across your path, until Carlisle found you.
That was a few months ago now you are able to control your thirst and are on a “vegetarian” diet. Being brought in by the Cullen's was probably the best thing that’s happened to you so far. You didn’t have a bad life previously, but now that you found what Carlisle described as your mate. Ironically enough though Carlisle was your mate.
There was this weird force that pulled you two together that you couldn’t describe. He knew you were coming since the moment you were turned in that empty alley. Alice, one of his adoptive daughters, saw you coming from the very beginning. You were still, however, trying to get used to Edward’s mind reading. Everyone seemed to like you. Emmett said that Rosalie will grow on you eventually.
You were all just walking back to the house after hunting when Alice stopped in her tracks. Jasper was at her side immediately.
“It’s the Volturi.” She whispered. You could see the fear in her eyes.
Carlisle glanced over at you and pulled you closer to him. “What do they want?” He asked.
“They found out about Y/N.” Edward answered for Alice. “They know about the killings.”
“What are they going to do?” You asked nervously.
“With the Volturi there’s no telling. However, they may have mercy since you have chosen to be on a strictly animal diet. Being Carlisle’s mate is also going to give you a better chance.” Jasper explained in his thick southern accent.
Everyone started to walk back towards the house, but Carlisle pulled you back so you could talk alone. “Everything's going to be alright.” he explained, holding on to your upper arms. You nodded not being to push back the feeling that your immortal life might end before you even had a chance to live it.
You sadly looked up at him, “Carlisle, what if they decide that they are better off ending me?”
“I’m going to protect you.” He whispered, pulling you into his arms.
“Maybe I should leave. I could run. I’ll get a head start and hide away for a while. Maybe I’ll come back in a hundred years or so. You would all be safer without me.” You rambled on anxiously.
“I’m not going to leave you.” He explained looking baffled that you’d even suggest that. “I wouldn’t leave you. I’m here to protect you. We all are. Alice will show the Volturi what she saw. They will understand that you don’t want to harm others.”
“What if they don’t care?” You asked.
“Then we will fight. I’m not going to lose you. I just found you. I’ve been looking for you for hundreds of years. I finally found you and I’m not going to let them take you away. Not now. Not ever.” He gently kissed the side of your head.
Once you guys walked into the house Alice ran up to you both. “Carlisle, they will be here tomorrow.”
“That soon!” You gasped. Carlisle pulled you tightly to him.
“We’ll be ready.” He explained. Everyone went out to get ready for the next day, while you and Carlisle waited in the house. As he was working at his desk you decided to browse the hundred of books on his books shelves.
You pulled out one of the really old books he had and it was a book written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Flipping through the pages you noticed that F. Scott Fitzgerald himself had signed the book. “Carlisle, How did you manage to get a signed addition?” You asked.
Carlisle immediately appeared at your side. “By asking him to sign it.” He laughed wrapping his arms around you from behind
“I didn’t think that was really that popular to autograph books back then?”
“Well typically it wasn’t but I decided that if i’m going to be around for a really long time I must as well have some really cool stories. Check this one out.” He said grabbing another old book off the shelf. “This one was signed by Emily Dickinson.” You were absolutely in awe.
You turned to face him. “Who was your favorite person to meet?” You asked.
“You.” He smiled pressing his lips to yours.

You stood alongside the Cullen's waiting for the Volturi to arrive. You were nervous to say the least. Jasper is helping you stay calm with his ability to change hormones. It probably would have worked better if you were still human though.
“They are here.” Edward explained. You looked ahead and watched as the Volturi got closer.
“Aro,” Carlisle greeted as the group got close.
“Ahh, Carlisle.” Aro announced. “I see you found yourself a mate.” he slowly glided over the word mate.
“This is Y/N. They will tell you anything you want to know.” He explained sliding an arm around you.
“May I?” Aro asked, holding his hand out. You glanced up at Carlisle who nodded. You gave Aro your hand. A few seconds later he dropped it. “I see.”
“Carlisle, as you know having them around could cause a lot of trouble.” He said while maintaining eye contact with you.
“They will cause no harm.” Carlisle assured.
“I’m sure they won’t. I can’t be positive though. How do I know they won’t turn on you.” He said glancing at the younger girl next to him.
“Aro, don’t. You’ve seen it for yourself. They would never hurt anyone.”
“Jane.” Aro acknowledged the young blonde haired girl.
“Aro. Don’t.” Carlisle warned. Before you could figure out what was going on you fell to the ground. Everything inside you felt like it turned to acid. It was worse than being turned.
“Aro. Enough.” Carlisle demanded. You felt your body ease. The pain subsided. You slowly stood up again. Carlisle pushed you behind him. “I will take full responsibility. I know they would not hurt anyone and so do you.”
Aro stared at you and then looked back up to Carlisle.
“I can prove it.” Alice spoke up from behind. Aro eyes lit up.
“Ahhhhh, Sweet Alice.” He basically cooed. “Come, Come.”
Alice walked forward and reached her hand out for Aro to take. Seconds later Aro dropped her hand and looked back at you.
“Very well then.” He nodded. “You can stay for now. We will however be watching you.” He turned to the rest of his group and lifted his hands in the air. Everyone turned and came back from where they came from.
Carlisle turned to look at you. Before he could say anything you pulled his lips to yours. “Now for the rest of forever.” You smiled. “I couldn’t agree more,” He laughed, pulling your lips back to his.
