I know that these posts get annoying to come acrossed, but I have no other choice at this point. I’m once again asking for money to help with expenses that my family and I have. My grandmother is struggling to pay the bills, to which we aren’t having much luck ourselves trying to help her. We are having a tough time with groceries, and now my mom’s wheelchair is breaking down on her. We have so much going on and not enough money to deal with it all. 

Im not asking for heaping amounts of money. Right now, I’m more concern with bills and my mom a new wheelchair. She is a recent amputee (not mentioning this to guilt you into it, serious just keep reading), and hasn’t been able to get a prosthetic yet, so a wheelchair is all she has to get her around. There are cheap wheelchairs (according to her, I haven’t looked up on them as of yet), so we don’t need much.

Cyber Begging

I am so tired of seeing this shit on my dash.  People come on and claim all sorts of misfortunes they have and ask for money.  They have no way of proving these claims.  Some people at least have the decency to offer services in return, but most do not.

It really disgusts me.

I am constantly struggling to pay bills and buy food.  But I’m not on here begging strangers for money.  Because my financial problems are MY PROBLEMS.  No one else’s. The only way I could prove anything would be to lay out all my bills and show my bank account with my transaction history.  

That is something you will NEVER see these cyber-beggars do.  You know why? Because they may be making the whole thing up.  How do you know they aren’t?

Social Experiment? by Gerri Brousseau

While driving to my day job yesterday I heard a story on the radio about a guy who put up a request on one of those cyber sites where you ask for donations. I’m not against this at all. In fact we posted a lot to help our friend, Leia Shaw, raise money to get a service dog for her son, Teo. I think these things can be quite helpful and a total success, but the story on the radio left me wondering.
