Is this a glimpse at Touya’s fate in Ambush Sim? Mayhaps.
This part is not yet written for Ambush Sim and probably won’t be for a while. But I wanted to share some of what’s to come in the Paranormal Liberation War.
One thing I’d like to draw attention to though is Touya plays piano in this AU. He learned so he could rehabilitate his hands, he teaches students in Fuyumi’s class, he has a lot of good and bittersweet memories around piano, and it’s a core part of his identity.
And they’ve destroyed his hands.

Ambush Simulation is an alternate universe in which the Vanguard Action Squad's attack on UA's summer camp...was a test sanctioned by UA.
Other canon divergences include:
Shimura was adopted by All Might before AFO found him.
Touya returned home after the fire/coma, but nothing else changed so he's still a mess physically/mentally/emotionally.
Toga is still a disowned teen, but she's got the best support group she could ask for.
