Something about Jason's visit had pushed Y/N to where she was now. Wayne Manor. It was time to complete her mission. Time to make sure her story was worth telling. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. Eight years in the coming, this was the last tie she had to her life before Gotham and the Night Program.
Hesitating only for a moment Y/N knocked on the large door. She'd expected the butler, who her research stated was named Alfred. Instead the first adopted son of Bruce Wayne opened the door mid-way through a doughnut. He looked just as surprised to see her as she was him.
He didn't pause his eating as he looked over his shoulder and hollered into the house, "Jason! One of your lady friends are at the door!"
There was a set of thudding footsteps above and a set of muffled yelling. Jason Todd himself fumbled rather ungracefully down the grand stairs just visible behind the tall mass that was Dick Greyson. Jason came tearing over, huffing at the run and stared surprised at Y/N who stood in the door.
"Jason Peter Todd!" Her voice raised several octaves. "One of you're what now?"
"Night! I didn't-" He stuttered. "He didn't- I don't mean- What are you doing here?"
Sending a final scolding look to the man, Y/N turned back to Dick Greyson who looked rather amused. Having finished his doughnut he turned to the girl and nodded for her to answer his adoptive brother's question. Shoving a hand into her pocket she produced a strip of Gold fabric perhaps thirty centimetres long.
Holding it out for the boys she watched carefully as Dick picked it up. Seeing nothing interesting he raised his eyebrows questioningly. She understood, to him it meant nothing. To her and her people it was a symbol meaning quite literally; Found. The cloth was often used to convey vague messages, dependant on their colour.
"Give it to the blood son, Damian Wayne." Y/N nodded to the fabric. "He'll know who it's from, what it means. Don't tell him where to find me." Then she was stalking down the drive and away from where her mission was already being completed.

The Wayne family were having a surprisingly peaceful dinner for once. Sitting rather quietly but there were no threats, nor raised voices much to Alfred's delight. Each of the previous robins sat down the middle of the dinning table, Batman and his heir sitting at either end. Dick, uncomfortable with the dead silence no matter how peaceful, cleared his throat and shoved a hand into his pocket.
"A woman came to the door today," He announced, heads perking up along the table in interest. "For Damian-" More heads turned. "She gave me this for you."
Dick held out the masterfully woven gold fabric. Damian's eyes widened as he simply stared at the thin piece of sheer cloth. Snatching it from Greyson's hand the Wayne examined it. Ran his hand along it and then pressed it to his nose as if checking for something. It seemed he found nothing out of sorts because the heir wrapped it once and then twice around his wrist before tying a crude knot.
"The woman," Damian leant against the table. "What did she look like? Did she give you a name or a place perhaps?'
Dick shrugged waving his hand at Jason who jumped in to explain. The second Ward of Bruce Wayne surely didn't sugar coat it as he retold the events that'd transpired. For his faults Jason Todd gave Damian Wayne a sympathetic look as he explained how she'd stalked off without a location for the man.
"And you knew this woman?" Bruce interrupted. "Both of you."
"She runs a small operation, very under the radar even for Gotham. Takes young children in, whoever wanders into the area. Street kids, gives them a home, food and they leave as they please." Jason gave a hearty chuckle. "I was eleven when she took me and the very first lot in. She's younger than me and the others had several years on her but she took the reigns. I checked back in just last week. The operations changed a lot, more money from who knows where but she's doing good. She goes by Night."
Damian blinked, once, twice and scowled, "She was in the League of Assassins." He shoved out of the room.
