Context: some folks have decided to create '$afeship' specifically as a selfship tag without 'dangerous selfships' which includes unhealthy/toxic/abusive selfship dynamics and folks above 18 shipping with high school anime characters and other characters that aren't adults in canon.

Because I selfship with multiple villains and I don't particularly like to erase their evil traits, a lot of my selfships are not something that should be emulated IRL so I am considered an unsafe shipper. (also one of my f/os was in high school when he died but he's been a ghost for twenty years so I dunno how that math works)

Either way, I believe 'unsafe' or 'immoral' acts should be allowed to all of us in fiction and roleplay, as long as it is either a) not involving or code for real people, or b) fully consensual on the part of all real people involved.

That said, I do respect the right of people to block tags and content that makes them uncomfortable! I know that lots of people in the $afeship tag are probably nice and respectful and just setting boundaries, but I've also seen a lot of violent rhetoric in that tag while blocking people and it makes me very sad that this is validated in our internet community. So this is my little celebration of the more open and accepting part of our community and all those who love writing their f/os in all kinds of ways!!
