Oh, I wish you could know me.
And I wish I could know you much more sometimes.
Wish I could do nothing with you.
Sit in the yard while the day dies.
... If you're willing, I'm able.

Karen antis always talk about Karen's ego and how she puts herself in danger because of her ego or because she feels worthy, yet a fundamental aspect of Karen's character is that she feels unworthy, which is why she feels a constant need to redeem herself. She has a strong sense of truth and justice and is willing to put herself in danger to fight for that because of her need to atone and feel worthy of being alive.
That's the exact opposite of ego or a strong sense of self-worth.
What I love about Daredevil is that sometimes it's incredibly grounded and then sometimes it's completely unserious and it's all just hilarious to think about.
In the first season it's just like "ok we have a blind guy with heightened senses who at night is a vigilante trying to take down a mob boss". Like ok that could happen. But then they're like "yeah and btw the reason he knows how to fight is because an old blind guy came to the orphanage he was at. Also there are these human weapons called the 'Black Sky' which we will not elaborate on". It's like, um what? But it's one episode so who cares really.
Then s2 again starts pretty grounded where they're like "ok here's a guy who's doing mass murders on gangs because his family was killed and we have to stop and get justice for him in the legal system". Again that could happen. But then it's also like "now we have to fight this secret underground army of super ninjas". Again um what? 😭
And then s3 is just completely grounded. The only really ridiculous thing I can think of in this season is Poindexter's 100% pinpoint accuracy with throwing shit but hey the main character of this show is a guy who got heightened senses after getting chemicals in his eyes so it's not really that farfetched.
I haven't watched Daredevil: Born Again yet because I haven't finished rewatching all of the Daredevil stuff. But I saw a clip where Matt says, "He wasn't in possession of his mystical amulet". So yeah, super glad to see we're going back to the unserious 🤣.
It truly baffles me when Karen receives hate for getting herself into trouble. What is she supposed to do? Uncover a conspiracy and leave it alone just to not piss off the corrupt officials behind it? That's coward territory, and Karen is most certainly not a coward.
If Karen were a man, she would be loved and adored for putting herself at risk to dismantle corruption.
There is always at least one man besides Matt in each season of Daredevil who is *~daddy~* and so today we’re giving it up for these dilfs
