I always found it odd how you're jumping around on moving platforms in the beginning of Jak II wondering what the actual hell kind of prison was Jak in. Then I recently realized that you're jumping around on cranes and industrial factory stuff, and that you really were sneeking around in some kind of restricted factory area...

and I only found that out from watching Darksydephil suck really hard at the game, because even beginners aren't bad at the game to the point of dying multiple times during what is meant to serve as the game's tutorial level.
