My goal for 2016 was to run 500 miles. It wasn’t easy, but I did it. My goal for 2017 was to run 1,000 miles. Also not easy, but I achieved that by the end of October, and pounded out another 264 miles to boot! For 2018, my goal isn’t going to be a new, greater distance, but a new PR—a 6 minute mile. I can do a pretty consistent 7 minute mile now, so I’ve got 12 months to train my way down 60 seconds.
