In Loving Memory of Roxi

This is a one minute short memorial in loving memory of my precious dog Roxi who died two years ago.

If you lost a beloved pet, they still love you.  Watch my video that I made when Roxi passed away as she went out of her way to let me know she was watching over me and that she still loves me.  I hope this helps someone grieving over a furry loved one!

Spell to Say Farewell to a Deceased Pet

The loss of a pet can be traumatic and devastating. They are, after all, part of our families, and we love them unconditionally. Once a pet passes away, it can be hard to move on from the grief. Do this spell to help ease the transition after your pet has passed.

Materials:

A pink candle

Two stones, one to represent you and one to represent your pet

Symbols of the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water

Light the candle, and hold the stones together in your hand, remembering the love you felt for your pet. Think about the wonderful times you had together, and the joy you shared. It's okay to cry if you need to.

When you're ready to move forward, pass the two stones over the elemental symbols. As you do, say:

[PETS NAME] with the energies of Earth, I am with you in spirit, and you are with me.

Repeat this for each of the elements. When you're done, say:

I thank you for being in my life, and for the honor of letting me be in yours. I release you now, but will never forget you.

Blow out the candle, and keep the stones in your pocket to rub together when you are thinking about your lost pet.

For thirteen years you looked up into my eyes with complete understanding, trust and love. You woke yourself every half hour and deprived yourself a sound rest only to ensure that I was safe and within your watchful eye. Your only thought was to know where I was, to care for me whenever I was defenseless; guarding me from potential harm.

You delighted in utter joy when I called your name and hugged you. Your body wriggled with bliss when I whispered to tell you how much you meant to me. You kissed my face without wanting anything more in return other than my love. I know you would have sacrificed your own life for me and already proved that fact by saving me from certain death. I was not the author of your pain in early life, but when you became mine I made a promise that nobody would ever hurt you again—I kept that promise to you…right to the bitter end when you gave up your spirit to the universe.

I know when you gazed into my eyes…. you saw me truly, for all that I was and am; the creature I was required to become to survive within this cruel world of humans. And despite my failures, misgivings, and faults, you still loved me unconditionally. I will miss you for the remainder of my life, only with the hope that we will be joined once more…a place beyond rainbow bridge where you might share me with other past pets, but you my dearest King, shall reign in your own supreme and special light forever in my heart.

I love you, baby…. until we meet again…. I know you are still watching over me.

I have a major ask of you Tumblr. Is there anyone who is good with photo manipulation? I need the plastic bag from the first picture and all the background stuff in the second picture removed. This is my pup, Max, who had to cross the rainbow bridge 2 months ago. I REALLY want to blow these up and frame them but I don't like all the background mess. He's my first personal dog. He was my heart and soul and the sweetest boy ever. I can't even begin to describe what he meant to me. There hasn't been a day since that I haven't thought about him. It would mean the world to me if someone is willing to even try. I don't have anything to give (I'm still paying off the bill), I'm so sorry. Please! You have no idea how much I need him back.

This is a very late post…. This past April my beloved Bobbi passed away from colon cancer. She began having health issues in November of 2024 and was diagnosed with cancer in January of this year…. She put up such a fight. She has been by my side for 15 years and nothing is the same anymore. She acted like a mother to me. She took a piece of my heart with her. I love you Bobbi 🕊️🐈‍⬛❤️
