Coffee shop au where Virgil starts working at a cafe where Janus and Patton work, but customers who are mean and yell stress him out, so it plays out in two ways.

Janus steps in between Virgil and customer, hits the (probably fine) coffee off the counter, and goes “I’m sorry, there’s no one behind me. Honestly, you were just screaming at the wall. I got so worried. No there’s not a person behind me. If you keep yelling at the air, I’m afraid we’ll have to escort you out. Now, can I get your order? No, there wasn’t properly made coffee there. What would you like?”

Or

Patton singing to the music playing as loud as the customer screaming so Virgil can’t hear before ushering him to the back and making him hot cocoa before PHYSICALLY FIGHTING ANYONE WHO DARES—

And yes he has two supportive, protective boyfriends by the end

Okay so

I have another dumb idea

So, Virge is a vampy boi™, and Dee and Virge are in a relationship. When Dee learns that Virgil is a vampire, he's really chill about it. 

HOWEVER, Dee has a secret fear of bats ( for reasons I'll leave up to speculation ), so when he Virgil in a room, only to return to see a human-sized bat in his place, he freaks the hell out.

Like, he screams bloody murder, then runs to wherever Patton is, hiding behind him and he's fuckin shaking

Okay I have this dumb idea

So I am a huge marble hornets fan, but also a huge sanders sides fan

Sooo I thought of this human sides au that takes place after the events of mh, where Tim moved to Florida, and Dee and remus live next door.  Dee reaches out to Tim online (coz the internet suggested it (Dee's a youtuber (he does vlogs as a way to cope w/ stress & depression since Virge left))) and they become best friends. They are always video-calling, then eventually they figure out that they are next-door neighbors (ensue hilarity). Tim always goes to Dee for coping advice for his own depression. One day Dee goes to Tim for dating advice cause he's desperate to get Virge back. Tim tells Dee that he wasn't really great at romance, but Dee is so fkn desperate. Tim caves and tells Dee this: "Don't hide your feelings. Just be honest, because you don't know when you will lose them." ( some implied Jam there)  Dee replies: "I'm just don't think he likes me back."
