“i did what i thought was right”
Do you know what I think would be interesting to see? I want to see Colin go too far during a case and get someone hurt. Preferably Bill (cause I love to do that to him) but Gina could work just as well. And I don’t mean Colin hurts Bill, I mean Colin crosses a line and his actions lead to Bill getting hurt.
Because this entire time we have seen Bill pull Colin back, we’ve seen Nikki convince him to reel it in. Even indirectly Gina being out in the field dampened Colin’s gung-ho cowboy shit down a little but he’s never done it willingly or thought about how his actions affect those around him. Case in point: Sarah. He tore that woman’s psyche apart due to his blazing trail of vengeance. He had NO plan for what came after when he finished his mission and he had no more use for Sarah. No plan.
Now that Colin has learned the truth about Toni he doesn’t need to tiptoe anymore so as to not get found out about his little crusade and have it shut down and he’s clearly still heartbroken so I expect him to just fling himself into danger whenever he can because it seems to me that he is just losing the will to play it safe.
So I really really want to see Colin do some dumb cowboy shit and get someone hurt so he can finally see that his ways don’t work when others are involved and he’ll finally tone it down a bit. We’ve already seen Bill “loosen up” a bit and maybe go a shade of grey in a few areas but so far Colin hasn’t changed. And I’m not saying he has to have a whole character arc in one season but I want to see it at some point. I want Colin to see that his actions have consequences and (to quote Colin from episode 8) “it’s not always you that pays.”
Cause that man can regurgitate the words but you know he thinks he’s above them. Also maybe it something bad happens to Bill because of Colin’s actions it will also force him to confront the fact that he is falling the fuck apart. He’s been running on emotion and a sense of righteous fury since we met him and it’s starting to affect him in the field. See: Andy, Sandy, and Toni.
I think it would be an interesting thing and realization to watch. Especially if it puts Bill into a really dangerous situation or get him really hurt so the facts leave Colin no where to hide.

Facts about Lawn Shrimp
Law n’ Shrimp was a short lived courtroom drama in which Alabama lawyers fought for justice then relaxed and ate tons of shrimp. Critics praised the realistic courtroom sequences, authentic depictions of shrimp cuisine, and poly-bromance between the lawyers, but the show was cancelled due to its expanding shrimp budget, which had become the 7th largest global economy by season 4. Producer Dick Gump went on to produce the popular shows L.A. Shrimp and Blue Bloods: Horseshoe Crab Season.
I know it’s probably gonna be years before they let those elderly bitches kiss but istg if they do a “they were together all along” bullshit I will personally smack Dick Wolf back to god
A Non-Exhaustive List of Nick Gehlfuss One Chicago Episodes
requested/encouraged by the CIA fandom wanting more Nick content set in Wolf 'Verse
This is not a full list of every episode that Will Halstead is in, because that would be a very, very long list, but it is a list of... recommended episodes? They're the ones that I think cover the meat of the character, his important story beats, the best moments. They will be listed in chronological order, in case there are any through-lines that a watcher might need to understand. The list will also include two categories of episode:
Bold text will be for "required watching"
Italics will be for recommended, but not necessary
All episodes of crossovers will be listed with the above rules. Episodes in crossovers with no formatting are episodes that Will is not in, but are part of the crossover event.
He does show up in all three long-running One Chicago shows (no appearances in Chicago Justice), so this will be a very long list. The show in front of the episode number and name will be shortened: Fire, CPD, or Med. Crossover episodes will be all on the same line. Because of the length, it is underneath a cut, just so I don't clog everyone's dashes!
if you watch it an need to scream about it for any reason, my inbox is open, I still think about Will Halstead on a daily basis
I kinda want Shawn Hatosy character Deputy Chief Charlie Reid to replace Voight on Chicago PD. I love Chicago PD but it feels like every season it's the same with Voight. And I want new characters. Plus it looks like Reid is like Voight in season 1 of the show... But I still need Shawn to be on The Pitt 💁♀️
But it also feels like Reid will be gone at the end of the season 🥺 like always with the show.
