I think the most tragic part about the Curious brothers being trapped at Division 47 is that Lazlo has been separated from his favourite plant 🍃🍃🍃
Tycho being kidnapped by his own (mind-controlled) uncle is pretty up there too...

Annie Howell - The Sims 2 (PSP)
I finally got around to play this dorky obscure game and LORD I’m in love. It also got me out of my bi-monthly art block, which is neat.
I aced my state exams by the way!
“You have got to stop antagonizing them, Chloe,” the black-haired woman said, shaking her head with disapproval. “That’s what got us locked in this stupid room in the first place.”
“Oh, shut up. They deserve it.” her sister replied.
Two years ago, the Curious twins were detained shortly after their father’s family. PT9 had fathered Chloe and Lola during his days as a pollination technician, and though he wasn’t able to be present during their early childhoods, they’d grown close after his spaceship crash made his visit to this planet permanent. When the military showed up on the Smith family’s doorstep, Johnny, their half-brother, sent them a quick text before his phone was destroyed. His message was clear: Get out of Strangetown NOW. But it was already too late.
Now they were stuck there.
Usually, like the Smiths, they had their own room, complete with beds as soft as rocks and fridges stocked full of food void of nutrients. But Chloe’s running mouth had sealed them in solitary confinement.

The Sims 2 - Division 47:
“The previous areas had a good amount of The Sims references and characters, but this whole area is literally Strangetown, but with some changes. Half of the missions are ok, but the other half is quite interesting. It’s a good level before you visit the final location.”
PS: the gameplay used for this gifset is not mine. The original video belongs to the user: quietman, on Youtube.
Division 47 - Lab Building 🧪
‘Ground’ Floor - includes the entrance lobby, toilets, recreational room and small kitchen. There are no beds in this block as the majority of scientists who work here, commute to and from the base.
The Lab
This is the main laboratory area. I know it’s not as big as the PSP game (but those rooms were far too big!). I’ve incorporated the greenhouse area, which is Vidcund’s main area of study.
There is another basement level which is the secret sublevel but I’ve not done anything with it yet, so I’ve not got a picture for you. It’s the same floor space and has access to the stairs and lift.
I keep wondering how the scientists like the Curious bros ended up living in Division 47 during the events of the PSP game. Were they forcefully relocated by the military (because of the aliens / humans conflict)? We know that the Smiths were basically forced to live in there, right?
Also, if it’s true that the Curious bros were more or less acquired by the military, is the reason that they have an alien baby with them, or that the military just wanted scientists with some kind of alien experience to work with/for them?
