Kremlin: If Trump manages to annex Greenland, he’ll go down in world history.
Me: If only Russia and China can get back at the United States by Russia taking the whole Ukraine while China seizes Taiwan. The day is going to come. The EU should grovel at Russia's feet and then apply to ditch the G7, and join BRICS. NATO should disband because of the way the United States has been acting and how bad NATO lowered itself to.
The tech billionaire has emerged as a major player in Donald Trump's reelection campaign.
Marita Vlachou at HuffPost:
Russian President Vladimir Putin has held several discussions with Elon Musk over the past two years, during which he also requested a favor from the tech billionaire on behalf of Chinese leader Xi Jinping, according to a new Wall Street Journal report published Thursday. Several current and former U.S., European and Russian officials cited by the Journal said the regular contact between the Russian leader and the tech billionaire started in late 2022 and covered “personal topics, business and geopolitical tensions.” As part of their talks, Putin also asked Musk to not activate the Starlink service over Taiwan to appease Xi, a former Russian intelligence officer with knowledge of the request told the Journal. Russia has become close and increasingly dependent on China for trade and navigating sanctions placed on the country over its invasion of Ukraine. An official from the Chinese embassy in Washington told the outlet they had no comment on the topic.
Musk has so far not commented on the contents of the Journal’s report. Putin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed the alleged close contact between Putin and Musk, saying there’s been only one phone call between the two men in which they discussed space, among other technologies, the Journal reported. Musk’s reported discussions with Putin, a major U.S. adversary, raise potential national security concerns for the U.S. government as his company SpaceX is involved in several U.S. intelligence and military projects. Musk has also taken an elevated role in former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, donating millions to his own Trump super PAC and also headlining events promoting his White House bid.
A report in the WSH reveals that X owner Elon Musk and Russian “President” Vladimir Putin have stayed buddy-buddy over the past 2+ years.
Michael Flynn and Jill Stein having lunch with Vladimir Putin a year after he conquered Crimea
This is at a celebration event for the 10-year anniversary of the founding of Russia Today, which ought to be called Pravda 2.0. The fact that Flynn went on to unironically believe in QAnon(no, that's not something the left made up, he's sold merch related to it and been on podcasts that push it) and that Stein went on to simp for Maduro in Venezuela and Castro in Cuba doesn't really that surprising anymore, at least not to me. Here they are almost a decade ago, cozying up to the man who'd just conquered the Crimean peninsula and provoked the Donbas Conflict. The third Western politician there, Willy Wimmer, is a former member of the German Bundestag with a long history of denouncing NATO whenever it decided to do its job. And no, he's not a member of Die Linke or AfD, he was a Christian Democrat. Why they let him stay in the party when the party itself was so committed to the alliance I'll never know.
So, Green Party voters, lemme ask-are you alright with voting for a candidate so accepting of dictators? And to anyone familiar with Emir Kusturica and/or his work, the hell is a film director doing here?

L’«operazione speciale» russa in Ucraina? È un successone. In Italia.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the move won't bring stability to Europe.
Ukraine War: Russia warns Sweden and Finland against Nato membership Nations want to escape Vladimir Putin for the same reason a child wants to escape a child abuser - the unnatural violence of both is related (1) and represents a Clear and Present Danger to natural life! (1) Only in their “specialization” do the two types of violence differ: both are the function of a corrupted and compounded psychological trauma (specifically, the archaeotrauma) sustained in childhood.
