Babylon 5 had so many great one off scenes that just exist and don’t actually tie into the bigger story in terms of plot. Like this season one bit.
Londo has been studying ‘The Hokey Pokey’ for seven days because so many earthers sing it to their kids generation after generation.
“I swear to you it does NOT MEAN. A THING!”
But even though it doesn’t tie into the greater plot, scenes like this really help develop the world and the characters.
And now one of the Dräl! Further results from the poll I did on the blue bird app.
I decided to introduce you all to So’var. She is old and a little cranky, but def one of the Dräl I write about the most.
The Dräl are a species/people I have developed over years. I don’t post much about them online, but they are visually around.
What about this for a trollhunters v-day ask.
Y/N gets Draal and them build a bear. And it has a voice recording saying "I love you." How would he react?

Looking up you paused seeing Draal. Holding the bear close you swallow before closing your eyes and walking towards him. "... Uhhh Draal. I..." Taking a deep breath you hold the gift close but don't squeeze it. "Do you know what day it is?" You question as you stand before him.
He huffs looking at you confused. You thought not. Oh geez. Your face turns pink as you look away. "Well ummm... it's a special day for humans. So... I got you something." You state. He tilts his head curiously before smiling softly.
"A gift for me?" He questions surprised. You nod and he nods back. Closing your eyes holding out the blue bear you'd made for him, Draal hums before sniffing it inquisitivley.
"What pray tell is this?" He questions gently poking it.
"Well it's a stuffed bear. Humans give them to people they like." Draal nods and gently takes it. It felt soft and warm in his hands and it smelled like you. The bear was blue and he paused seeing it's yellow arm holding a little axe. The jacket it wore matched the blue furr and had studs resembling his spikes. Looking over the human trinket, It's likeness to him was amusing.
"It's different." He admits as he squeezes it close. He liked the softness. The smell. That it came from you. He hears a soft click.
'I love you' A voice rings out. Dropping the bear in surprise he paused poking it. Had the toy just spoken?
"What was that?" He asked looking at you than the bear.
"Oh the bear it... it has a thing inside that let's it speak." You explain. Picking it up and squeezing it Draal chuffs as it says I love you again.
"Fascinating." He hums.
"Do you like it?" Nuzzling you gently he purrs deeply as he takes the bear.
"I love you." He mirrors from the bear. Blushing and stuttering Draal chuckles. "Thankyou for the gift." He hums. Nodding flustered he headbomps you gently before stalking off towards his home.
He... He loved you too?
Day Eight: Your most evil dragon. What made them this way? Is there any hope of redemption?
I don’t really have a lot of evil dragons. Mostly just Assholes. But if I had to pick someone closest to ‘evil’ it’d probably be Dral. He’s the 13th son of my fire progens and he wants the throne, even though he’s farthest in line. He’s power-hungry and prideful. I don’t know yet if there’s a chance for redemption for him, but we’ll see.
