Week Thirty-Seven: Dr. Julius Strangepork

Been getting into drawing recently! Here's the beloved Noivern NPC from our tabletop game, the fourth thing I've drawn using my current setup I have to say, Krita mogs GNU Image Manipulator so unbelievably hard that it was like being mind blasted with 10 years of knowledge in 10 seconds. For the curious, my general technique is to draw thick, rough outlines with a ~40 pixel solid brush, then use the pressure sensitive eraser brush with my drawing pad to carve those lines into my actual desired image.

Every time I see this scene I wonder how they got down. Did they slide down the roof, or did everyone else stop fighting and wait patiently for the Crows to find some other way?
