List 10 of your favourite characters in 10 different fandoms and then tag 10 people!
In no particular order: 1. Percy Jackson from PJO 2. Jim Lake Jr. from Trollhunters 3. Pidge from Voltron: Legendary Defender 4. Michael Cordero Jr. from Jane the Virgin 5. Lev from the Unwind series 6. Annalise Keating from How to Get Away With Murder 7. Jyn Erso from Rogue One 8. Alek from the Leviathan Series 9. Zuko from AtLA 10. Magpie Windwitch from Faeries of Dreamdark, which tragically no one has read.
Too lazy to tag. Do it if you want and tag me! I’d be interested to see it.

Here’s a books edition for this ask. And no I’m not including manorian. I already did an entire top five for them 😁
1. Watership Down. I usually end up crying my eyes out at several points in this book but it still makes me happy.
2. Pretty much anything written by Laini Taylor. I got to speak with her at a signing and she is truly lovely.
3. The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin getting a tv deal. This series is incredible and I’m so excited to read the third book that just came out!
4. Audiobooks read by Steve West. That voice… omg. Bonus for books where he’s paired up with Fiona Hardingham (An Ember in the Ashes I’m looking at you!)
5. I lied. Manorian.
TBH I'm still mildly pissed that most of the fandoms I'm in are itty bitty tiny little things that have little to no fanfiction or fanart
I have begun the Herculean task of actually organizing all the books I own in an effort to begin the Sysaphian task of actually reading them. In that effort I plan to do a little review/update series here and maybe on TikTok if I get the wild hair to.
Book 1 Dreamdark: Blackbringer by Lani Taylor.
Lani Taylor’s first book, published in 2007 I actually read this when I was in middle school along with the sequel when it came out. It’s a fun fantasy from what I remember (I’m only 5ish chapters into this reread). While the world as a whole is familiar set in a vaguely Victorian Earth we get the underworld of magic and mysticism that’s hiding from humans or ‘mannies’. Magpie Windwitch is a fun FMC chasing devils and old dead gods call Djinn with her crow brothers and dancing around a romance with Talon Rathersting a fairy who’s wings are too small to carry him so he made his own way to fly.
I remember this being at least a 7/10 so we’ll see how it holds up. So far it’s promising
it's been a hot minute since i Blackbringer-posted on here. bi-annual reminder that to this day Dreamdark lives in my brain at all hours xoxo go read laini taylor
