Just noticed randomly cbad was the first out of three to get "influenced" right and cskeppy the last, yet he was the first to get like fully corrupted and controlled, second was cpuffy during her birthday party and it was even worse than cskeppy's case, and like do you see my vision with cbad right was he supposed to be the next fulltime pupper after cpuffy except he would be even more fucked or did i misunderstand the c!velvet speech just got curious im pretty bad at getting stuff right just wanted to hear your thoughts🤔🤔🤔 like i find this whole reverse-order really cool i wanted to yap about it :D

Hi thank you, first of all I'm flattered? Hjjkhjk thank you for the art it is wonderful. Second of all, I genuinely agree with your take on the 'who gets possessed by the egg chain' (From what we can gather in canon even breaking away from initial exposure as seen with Bad going from initially influenced, to resisting it, to back in the egg's grasp) still means you are very vulnerable, way more than someone never infected at all, to later being fully controlled by the egg. I also think there is different degrees of control the egg has over its minions. At the extreme end of the scale we have c!Puffy literally getting aliened' and at the mildest end of the spectrum of people whose behavior we can say was reasonably altered by the egg, c!Ponk who.. kept a large amount of self awareness when he was infected? Of course there's also evidence to suggest things can disrupt ongoing infections, and I can honestly ramble about that all day. But c!Bad's ultimate fate is kinda left ambiguous although vessel Puffy WAS hitting him, so really we have no indication of if he died, went back to being infected, etc. But we also don't know if the egg even switched 'hosts' after that! (Honestly the way the Egg Finale ended on a cliffhanger for me was one of the most infuriating lore related parts of the clusterfuck that that was late dsmp lore. The DSMP should never ever come back but I would love to see what the original vision they had for the egg arc was, because I think it's pretty obvious it was set up to be a lot bigger and more overarching than it ended up becoming, for multiple in universe and out of universe reasons. Also I loved your c!Sam mind electric animatic with c!Hannah in it. I love your design for her in general it brought a nostalgia blast back to the past because It's been years since I've seen new dsmp egg related animations (even if tangentially so due to c!Sam) especially with c!Hannah in them and I love that song in general.

Okay i NEEEED to rant about Pogtopia because I know it was a ravine and shit but I need people to consider: lava caves

(all photos taken by me cause I explored one the other day and that’s where I got this idea)

Lava caves or lava tubes are HUGE super long caves that were carved out by literal lava flows and now just sit there and they’re cool as fuck

they’re cold as shit and the roof can vary from being dozens of feet above your head to being so low you have to crouch

there’s piles of rocks and ice formations and sand gardens and they are PITCH BLACK if you don’t have any lights and they paths can be crazy wide or super narrow and the ground is full of drop offs

ones that are made for people to explore have railings and stairs in certain places too and some even have built in lights or like the one I explored let you rent a flashlight

also a fun sidenote the ground is super hard packed sand full of holes from water dripping and it’s so hard packed that you don’t leave footprints (this would not help with Wilbur’s derealization)

anyways I think this would all work SUPER well for pogtopia cause cold/dark/shifting atmosphere/adding railings and pathways is already a thing in pogtopia

what cslime did made perfect sense. its painful and i didn't like it, but it made sense. as much as cquackity loved cslime, he wasnt good for him.

cquackity has gone through so much trauma, loss and betrayal. his attitudes of "trust no one", "humans are assholes", "create no emotional attachments", etc, are a result of all of that, and i don't blame him for thinking that way.

but then he projected that onto cslime. he not only told cslime that humans were assholes, but showed him. and that hurt cslime. a lot.

(im going off on a tangent here but bear with me) my own dad has been through a lot of trauma in his life, and he's put it onto me. he's taught me about the genocide and dehumanization that our people have faced for centuries, but he's gone beyond that and taught me to feel his raw emotions. he gets angry, almost violent sometimes. he's hostile, doesn't show his feelings a lot. and when he does, it hurts us all. the trauma he's been through was absolutely not his fault, but it was his choice to open me and my sister up to his raw, unprocessed emotions when we were so young and malleable. we love and care for each other, and we have a good relationship, but there will always be that trauma that he chose to put onto us rather than healing, and i won't forgive him for that.

in the same way, cquackity felt real love for cslime. he didn't want to hurt him, but instead of coping in a healthy manner, he passed his trauma onto cslime, which was a conscious choice. you are not responsible for what others do to you, but you are responsible for how you treat others.

of course, cpunz, purpled and dream had significant roles to play in cslimes trauma, but cquackity's treatment of him is what started it all.

cslime's anger was completely justified. while killing cquackity isnt the way to settle his grievance, his emotions are understandable.

cslime is not a "villain", he isn't a bad person. he's a broken person who's been subject to the worst parts of others. and now he needs to heal.

i love how purpled and slimecicle both have an open sort of end to their stories:

slime obviously takes his revenge on both purpled and quackity because they took advantage of his nature and hoped he wouldn’t catch on, but overlayed as he does is “is it ever worth it/no” from when quackity tells him about revenge, so you don’t know how he feels about either afterwards, what sort of guilt he carries now, and he remains an entirely changed person due to both experiences. and clearly he goes on to live as himself but what he does as himself is a mystery since we never truly saw him independent

- and purpled does what he’s done before, he has an agenda and as much as he wants to complete it alone he agrees under duress to try and achieve it with someone else, but this time his attempt to manipulate someone falls through and he reaches the exact same fate as quackity, the very person he was trying to get revenge upon. and he’s not permadead after that, it wasn’t his last canon death but where does he possibly go now? it’s unlikely dream has any use for him and he’s proved useless to purpled actually achieving his goals, and now he’s got no legacy no revenge nothing to even plot in his cave. maybe he tries to be himself this time? maybe he leaves the server entirely? maybe he gets pulled into someone else’s scheme again and meets the same fate he has before.

you don’t know, because it’s quackity’s story, so all you get that is their futures don’t have him in it.

the one thing about the dsmp fandom that keeps me on my toes at all times is the fact that the ccs can and will stumble over any bullshit take and just decide to make it canon because they are in a silly goofy mood that day

we as a society don’t talk about c!schlatt’s canonical disability enough. like its made out to be a funny haha thing but he’s canonically got a type of muscular atrophy (muscle loss) that he self medicates using alcohol and steroids. i think there’s more to it so here’s my personal interpretation.

after doin a bit of research and looking back on my old sophomore year notes on muscular atrophic diseases, I’ve concluded that c!schlatt has muscular dystrophy. lemme explain.

-difficulty walking/running/swimming

-unusual walking gait

-heart problems (arrhythmia and cardiomapthy/heart failure)

-breathing problems

-choking/difficulty swallowing

all these are just the things we can see in canon, since he is a minecraft character and not like. a human actor. however, that doesn’t mean c!schlatt’s human designs can’t also include things common to md such as scoliosis or swollen calf muscles.

i’d like to add that the life expectancy for people with muscular dystrophy is between 20 years and 50 years. so, it would make complete sense for c!schlatt to be between those ages when he dies.

thinking about how almost all of foolish's status and power comes from violence and physical prowess. thinking about how much it probably meant to him that a god far above himself saw potential in foolish because of his building skills. thinking about how excited foolish was when dream XD liked his statue, and seemed to revel in that joy beofre asking for a reward.

thinking about how the most powerful thing on the server put value in the same things foolish values about himself and rewarded foolish for a job well done

Ok my thoughts right off the back from the stream

- yay no death. Wilbur didn’t intend to kill himself, he just REALLY made it seem like he did. And Tommy was ready to stop him if he tried.

- we got to see the explosion from the burger arc. 

-I really want to know what the book said.

- He is an american, and L’manburg was all about having no Americans XD

- I don’t like this backstory for Wilbur that much. What do you mean that Utah and gas stations are real. What about my cottage core sbi family? What about Wilbur finding tommy and giving him his name? What is the timeline?

- Technically both Techno and Philza have the same jacket, did they also work there?

- The Wilbur cosplay XD IRL wilbur

I can’t believe that was it. I’m not sure I understood that stream completely. Time to gather my deeper thoughts.

But that was it. That was the end of the wilbur lore. I hope we get to see more Tommy pov soon. How will Tommy Cope with Wilbur leaving
