Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 1 green bell pepper, diced. 1 cup pizza sauce. 1/4 cup tomato paste. 1/2 cup water. 1 tbsp Italian seasoning. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 6 hamburger buns.
Instructions: In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat. Transfer cooked beef to slow cooker. Add diced onion, diced green bell pepper, pizza sauce, tomato paste, water, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Before serving, stir in shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and fully incorporated. Toast hamburger buns if desired, then spoon the pizza sloppy joe mixture onto the buns. Serve hot and enjoy!
