With a final push I managed to finish all the book dustjackets + instructions for the 17th Anniversary of BBC Merlin first airing!!
You can find all the digital files and instructions for free download on my Ko-fi!
If you take the time to make either the bookcloth or paper version and post about it, please do tag me! I'd love to see it 💜

I have each book as its own listing as there is a good amount of files (I did not zip the files because I feel weird offering them as .zips since you can't see all of the files contained in it. But if people prefer then I can certainly go through and add the zips for easier download 👍)
Each book listing includes:
► Base PSD file
► Three faux bookcloth PNG files, each with a different spine design
► One SVG file, that contains all three different spine designs
► PDF instruction / information file
Here's the PDF for easy access:

You're standing in cove decorated with books on all three sides, from floor to ceiling the shelves are full of books waiting for the eager dreamer reader to pick them up.
Some books only have one available option, and that's perfectly fine; however, sometimes there is a choice to be made. Do you get the paperback version or the hardcover version. The factor of cost can make this an easy question to answer as paperback tends to be cheaper. The factor of durability can also aid in choosing the hardcover version as the pages are usually more protected against unwanted folding.
For someone like me, I am in the middle. Usually the appearance of a book can sway me to spend a little more on the hardcover, or the pretty sprayed edges featured on some paperbacks will take hold. Because of this, I am often grabbing a hardcover book and removing the dust jacket to see what design lies beneath it. If I am met with simple foiled lettering on the spine, I am likely to choose the paperback version (or whichever one has sprayed edges because I love a good sprayed edge).
That is where this blog comes into play.
I will be starting with hardcover books I currently own (or purchase) and will showcase what the books look like behind the dust jackets.
I will accept requests if there is a book you would like to see as I make frequent trips to bookstores.

-- John Fitzgerald Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963), often referred to by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th president of the United States from 1961 until his assassination near the end of his third year in office. Kennedy served at the height of the Cold War, and the majority of his work as president concerned relations with the Soviet Union and Cuba. A Democrat, Kennedy represented Massachusetts in both houses of the U.S. Congress prior to his presidency.
Born into the prominent Kennedy family in Brookline, Massachusetts, Kennedy graduated from Harvard University in 1940 before joining the U.S. Naval Reserve the following year. During World War II, he commanded a series of PT boats in the Pacific theater. Kennedy's survival of the sinking of PT-109 and rescue of his fellow sailors made him a war hero for which he earned the Navy and Marine Corps Medal, but left him with serious injuries. After a brief stint in journalism, Kennedy represented a working-class Boston district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953. He was subsequently elected to the U.S. Senate and served as the junior senator for Massachusetts from 1953 to 1960. While in the Senate, Kennedy published his book, Profiles in Courage, which won a Pulitzer Prize. In the 1960 presidential election, he narrowly defeated Republican opponent Richard Nixon, who was the incumbent vice president. Kennedy's humor, charm, and youth in addition to his father's money and contacts were great assets in the campaign. Kennedy's campaign gained momentum after the first televised presidential debates in American history. Kennedy was the first Catholic elected president. (Excerpt: wikipedia)
