So I kind of suspected an element of Skyward Sword being reintroduced into botw 2 considering the rerelease of the former on the switch.

HOWEVER

I am totally surprised that it has to do with the sky.

Originally, I thought there'd be the reintroduction of sword spirits, namely Fi and Ghirahim, because the voice in the master sword (Fi) played such an important part in both BOTW and HWAOC. (Also we didn't see Ghirahim actually die so I don't believe he's gone 100%).

Regardless, if Nintendo is trying to stretch the limits of gameplay, I'd be eager to see if we get to play as both Zelda underground and Link in the skies. Because if Nintendo just trapped Zelda in a floating Hyrule Castle basement, I'm prepared to throw hands.
