Finnish spring

I have been fascinated by the beauty of Finnish spring once again. After a dark and gloomy winter, we get this total rebirth of nature. I've been taking a photo almost every day of the same spot next to a field, and want to share the blossoming with you! This is happening everywhere from my backyard to the forest nearby to parks in central Helsinki.

Qwo-Li Driskillin Asegi stories kertoo länsimaiseen sukupuoli- ja seksuaalisuusnormeihin sopimattomista cherokeista, ja queer teemoista tässä yhteisössä. Jos yhdysvaltojen alkuperäiskansat kiinnostaa, niin mielenkiintonen kirja. Tässä taisi jotkin kohdat olla aluksi hieman vaikeita ymmärtää. :)

Qwo-Li Driskill’s Asegi stories tells about cherokee people who dont conform to western gender and sexuality norms and queer themes in their communities. If you’re interested in native people in US, this is worth a read.

Queer sex ei ollut kirjana ihan sitä mitä oletin. Kirjan kappaleet koostuu keskusteluista eri ihmisten kanssa ja niiden reflektoinnista, joten yhden kirjan aikana pääsee kuulemaan aika monta erilaistä näkökulmaa.

Quer sex wasn’t exactly the kind of book I was expecting. The chapters consist of discussions with different people and the writer’s reflections on them, so it allows you to find many different points of view during the book.
