this is basically how my life is gonna go every day until my licensure exam on november ☕️ i actually prefer online classes rather than physical classes because i get to stay at home and study on my own 🍃
Its around this time last year, I was preparing to take the exams to get my engineering license. Now I'm just studying to retain information and to pass time.
little update about August, it was a great month for me. i turned 25, i spent my birthday with my parents, i have art commissions, and i am super blessed. this september, there will be soooo many changes in my life, i need to make a decision to choose myself, to save my mental health, and i will never regret it. :)
happy 9.9 everyone! add to cart all you want but be mindful on what to check out. :)
Struggles of having an Online Class during the Pandemic
It’s me again! No photo posts for this week since classes are taking up most of my time right now. So while I’m here having a quick break, sipping my iced cold coffee, I’m going to share the struggles of having an online class or lecture in this pandemic.
Most of the universities and or schools shifted to online learning since the pandemic started. For some, it may be an advantage, for others, it is a struggle. Especially when the student doesn’t have enough resources to attend an online lecture.
At first, I was ecstatic to try the online learning as it is my first time experiencing it. Days passed, I started to get tired with the setup because of the following reasons:
1. My class starts early in the morning and runs for 2 hours. The next class is after an hour break then another 2 hours then 30 mins break then another 2 hours.
2. I’m sitting all day long (which is not good for my back I know, I’m having back pains every now and then)
3. It strains my eyes looking at the screen. I can feel my eye grade going up.
4. It’s hard to have an online discussion since the explanations are typed down. The professors are having a hard time to explain it.
5. Video discussions is also a struggle. Need to have a quiet environment so it won’t disturb the call. (In my case, it’s very hard to find a quiet environment here which sucks)
So far these are the struggles I’m having right now. Just curious though, are you guys attending online classes right now? If yes, then what are your struggles with this set up? and what do you think is its advantages for you? :)
I’ll be leaving again. My time’s up. Time to go and ace this exam I’m going to take later!
Keep safe guys! Always wash your hands and drink water ;)

Una.

I have been busy for this past year so I haven’t posted much. Now, I have graduated college! And is currently reviewing for my licensure examinations.
5 years was a really tough one. I had my ups and downs, and sometimes I question myself if I did the right choice of taking up this course. But then again, all I have to do is take a quick rest and continue moving towards that dream of becoming a Civil Engineer.
Now that I’m entering another chapter in my life, I’ll have more time to update this blog and maybe help those who are currently in college right now. Thank you guys and happy studying!💖
