BonKai AU: Bonnie and her infamous crew of criminals are the ones to call when you’ve been wronged. Caroline Forbes, the expert locksmith. Sarah Nelson, ‘systems analyst’ and resident art virtuoso. Rebekah Mikaelson, heir of the Mikaelson Empire, history buff and accomplished grifter. Meredith Sulez, the ‘disciplinarian’ with a mysterious past. Tyler Lockwood, their backup grifter and occasional bruiser. Lastly there’s Bonnie Bennett, the orchestrator of their operation.

The latest threat is the Gemini Conglomerate, a mega corporation with ties to the Underworld. The new head of the conglomerate is the attractive yet unpredictable Malachai Parker, eldest son of the infamous Joshua Parker. He along with his other siblings also manage their various underground dealings.

Their worlds collide when Bonnie’s ex-boyfriend, Enzo St. John, gets his entire family fortune stolen. Bonnie plots a seemingly perfect ploy that could bring down the Gemini but Kai manages to see through it. He enacts a countermeasure that practically gives Bonnie and the crew a run for their money. Thus begins a mental chess match between the two that threatens both of their livelihoods but also brings out another side of each other.
