posting this panel by itself because a lot of people (me included) love it and it deserves it:
the way the speech bubble pierces through one ear and bursts out the other is just so cool,,
episode 159: Onward, Crow! to the Sacrificial Altar! (Part 2 of 2)
she is so pretty. 2. i really do think nico robin is one of the more interesting straw hats. she's evil, but also kinda a pacifist?? (she knocks people out ((i presume not killing them??? the show plays the neck crack sound effect???))) and really seems like she's just with the straw hats for the hell of it. i wonder how much luffy saving robin's life influenced her decision to join the straw hats. her being an actual intellectual who kinda wants to do her own thing is great. i do worry in the back of my mind, though... like she's so lone wolf. what if her goals at some point do not align with the straw hats? like everyone talks about how evil she is, but we don't see that... yet??
i do always laugh when nami does an about-face as soon as berries are potentially involved.
i love that no matter where you are, what you're reading/ watching/ playing, whenever there is a vine to swing on in a jungle, you ALWAYS yell like tarzan. classic.
hahaha she is so fucking deadpan i love her. i watch the show subbed, but i have heard clips of the english VA for robin, and i think she does an excellent job.
like come on she is so funny and smart, this is hilarious. she's like a really cool older sister, who can also kill you.
i genuinely had to pause the episode, i was laughing so hard. coming from zoro of all people, this joke is one of my favorite in recent memory!!! the fact that i thought about the tarzan yell when i saw the ep and have it referenced here is so fucking funny.
aww poor chopper, but also WHY ARE THEY LEAVING HIM ALONE??? HE'S JUST A BABY! like CLEARLY something is gonna happen??? someone needs to protect him!!! also great reaction image.
am i crazy or does it looks like there is a fifth one on the far left, maybe with a much smaller entrance???
“My ears don’t lie to me! I heard her loud and clear! She was trying to protect Asuka! YOU’RE IN THE CLEAR, LUCY!”
Thanks, Natsu!
Finally got round to finishing this
Now please excuse me whilst i cry in the corner over these two
ep 159
Trixie: I liked music. I'm 18 years old and I get to school for music. Then, I go like, oh. Musical theater looks fun. It's like singing and comedy. That looks fun, right?
Katya: Lo and behold.
Trixie: By the time I get that degree, I know I don't wanna do musical theater.
Katya: *whispers* Yeah.
Trixie: But I'm stuck in it. I'm stuck in it.
Trixie: I will say this. Learning to move my body, learning to act, learning to sing...
Katya: ...Hasn't happened yet.
Trixie: *ignores* Look where it got me.
Trixie: *starts singing*
