Did I mistakenly read this as "You can do it" the first time and get real excited thinking Mawin had embedded a secret code in the problem for Err?

This scene was cute!

Err finally learned what Mawin was listening to and it turns out it has nothing to do with math or anything related to studying... No, Mawin likes to listen to the radio and mostly talk radio. Err wasn't expecting this and it seems like Mawin is opening up more thanks to him. It means he trusts him. 

The talk that they were listening was a woman talking about the feelings she has for someone else when she is looking at him, and she didn't know if it meant that they she felt some kind of attraction to this person. At the same time, Mawin and Err were really close and they probably felt like this talk was about what they were experiencing...

The moment passed too fast. None of them are quite ready to talk about "love". They only recently admitted they were friends, but something was happening at this moment.

err's throat dries up at the scenario unfolding in front of him. the deception of perceiving mawin as an ultimate rival, another dark horse in the stable, racing towards the finishing line—seems trivial now—when he experiences a change of heart. wanting to run with mawin instead of against him, solving those complex equations together, sharing another pot of instant noodles at midnight, offering the sweet and sour jam biscuit mawin loves snacking on—together.
