Inspired by the Swerve post, how would Earthspark Swindle react to the reader making little angry squeaking noises in response to a terrible plan of his? Would he throw a tantrum or would he try and sweet talk them into it? ES Swindle is just fun in general though haha

ES Swindle x Reader

• “What? What is that? What are you doing?” He asks and you freeze. Realizing you’d made the freaking noise. In front of him. Flustered, your shoulders lift to play it off. ‘That’s pure, unadulterated derision, because that plan? It’s crap,’ You mutter, embarrassed that you’d made that little angry, squeak of noise where he could hear. Hadn’t meant to, but you’re just so relaxed around him that you forget to keep your guard up. To act normal so people don’t think you’re weird. “Nah, nah, nah. I’ve never heard humans make that sound before. It’s like a-” Watching him roll his wrist as he hunts for the word, before grinning. “Like a squeaky toy.”

• “Oh, screw you,” you mutter, shoulders hunching and his grin widens at your obvious discomfort as he mass shifts to cut you off when you try to walk away. ‘That an invitation?’ He asks and you glare. ‘Hey,’ he says, hands lifting and expression innocent. ‘Can’t blame a mech for asking.’ Watching you shake your head at him in exasperation, you hadn’t exactly said no. And that’s important. Makes him want to know what other sounds you make.

• Yeah, you absolutely can blame him for trying. “I make a point of not mixing work and pleasure,” you mutter, still flustered that you’d relaxed enough to make a noise at him. ‘Shame, because I go out of my way to mix the two. Nothing wrong with blowing off some steam,’ he adds, a servo stroking against your arm and you rock back. It would help if you didn’t have a slight crush on him. If you weren’t curious. ‘So what other noises do you make?’ And you just want the ground to swallow you up as you scowl at him and he grins, completely unrepentant.

• “Wouldn’t you like to know,” you counter and he chuckles. Because you have no idea how badly he does want to know. That he’s wondered about the noises you make, how you’d feel under him. Or on top of him. Isn’t picky. And the more you pretend you’re not interested when he can scent that you are, the harder it is to keep his hands to himself. ‘Afraid you might like it, Squeaker?’ He asks and you freeze. “Don’t you-” You begin and he leans down to carefully tap a servo against the tip of your nose, interrupting you. ‘What? Call you Squeaker? Because it’s happening.’

• Flustered as you heat when his head tilts and his optics give you a lazy once over, you know he’s just messing with you. Teasing and flirting without meaning it. You’re not sure he can even be serious. “This is why you don’t have friends,” you mutter and he spreads his arms. ‘I have you,’ he says, smiling crookedly. ‘What more could a mech want?’ He asks, leaning into your space until your breath catches. Sure he’s going to kiss you. And instead he taps you on the nose again, grinning. ‘Right, Squeaker?’

G1 Swindle

He is GOOFY!!!! 100% nicknames you 'baby', and likes to tease you a lot (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

His greed knows no bounds. If this bot falls for someone, his desire for them runs so deep that he'll do anything to keep them. He probably embarrasses himself a lot for it though—especially in front of the Combaticons... or Starscream... or Megatron.

Also the fact that he's maybe easy to tame/keep in line. Like, he's gonna be doing the most (like selling his teammate's parts. WHAT was he thinking) but with just a little nudge from you, then he'll probably back off. You're more important and all that stuff.

However. Bro is a sweet talker so it'll take a while. It's not easy to make him not do something. Just sweet talk him back, and do not drop your guard. Impress him with his own medicine. The other Combaticons (especially Ons) would appreciate it.

Although the only examples of Swin being submissive are from Megs and Galvatron (two extremes) so uh I can't accurately compare—

All in all a real cutie if you ignore the fact that he won't hesitate to blast someone with his cannon if he doesn't like how they're interacting with you :]

Animated Swindle

This guy, well... He's a bit more complicated. Much more intentional than his G1 counterpart. To truly capture his affection, you gotta be interesting, unpredictable, and uhh, somewhat consistent with him.

He travels around. Interacts with other people a lot — persuades a lot. You can just be another customer to him.

I guess the most notable thing about this Swindle — he's kinda alone. Sure, he's surrounded by Energon and Shanix, surrounded by a buttload of the greatest (or worst) weapons in the universe, but no real loyal company that he doesn't think is going to backstab him at any given moment. (not sure abt the combaticons 😔)

And that's where you come in!

Hearing a voice that isn't his own feels so nice. This is someone that chooses to get along with him just because. And he's starting to choose to be with you too.

Then he just... utterly sinks into your presence. He gets used to you. No expectations, no wish-wash, no need for trading and all that sort.

He likes you. So, of course, as Swindle, he'd like to keep you. Maybe he's not the most obvious, but his endless words, his charming tone, his steady gazes—there are probably some things he's not directly telling you.

Would he ever tell you how he really feels? The intense reassurance and comfort from your company? Hmm. Maybe. I dunno. He probably doesn't understand his own feelings. Or he does know, but... hmm :p

He's the hardest to read.

He knows what he wants. He knows and he's so OPEN about it!!! This dude taunts, twists your words, and will use cliché ass lines.

Disgustingly flirty. Constantly wants (needs) your attention—I'm sorry this is the most needy Swindle I don't make the rules. He will even do puppy eyes istg. He complains, he whines, he throws a tantrum,,, he's annoying (all really has is free time) 🥀

Yeah he's a smooth talker like the other Swins, but you're so used to his bs that it doesn't work like that anymore 🥀🥀 You know him too well by now

If this is post-Hardtop, yeah that man is never letting you go. He gaslights gatekeeps girlbosses okay — I mean. Nowhere else to go, no one else to save. He only has you now. (The other Decepticons aren't very good company if he has to be honest.)

Soundwave gives into swindles idea and its the best frag hes had in ages, hes so pissed about it that he gets lost in the anger and lets baser coding take hold as he malds, palm at her shoulders biting into them enough so she will *Quit squirming* and one the haze of overload has cleared WHOOPS he knotted. Guess they get to be around each other a little more.
