Because as much as I love Burns AU, and Came Back Normal, I think I’d love you even more if you crashed landed in a lovely pocket dimension.

Leyland, dearest pilot, what if you were to be part of a thing greater than yourself? Instead of fifteen years trapped in the time stream, why not an unrecognisable, unquantifiable moment as part of a cast? If you were, how do I say, were to lose all recognition of who you were before except that you were the man sent off to explore the skies, to trapeze across vast distances and world and discovery? How would you turn out? How would you live?

Sure there is a crone who watches over your every action, but what a show you put on! What people you get to help! My starry eyed dreamer, you will have such a wonderful time trapped in a place you were never meant to part of.
