Obi-Wan and the Order
I think Obi-Wan's views on the importance of the Order in his life is so much lower than most people would think. I am specifically talking from a Codywan view point.
Like most fics I've read have Obi-Wan with a big internal struggle on his love interest and his Jedi status. but Obi-Wan "I would have left the Jedi Order had you said the word" Kenobi would never even hesitate to choose the people he loves over the order.
I think this is also why Obi-Wan doesn't stay with Satine when they are reunited in The Clone Wars series. It wasn't that he was a dedicated Jedi, It was because of Anakin. Who would have been left alone during a kriffing war.
Obi-Wan didn't stay because for the Order, he stayed for the love of his little brother.
So if Obi-Wan falls for his hot af and competent Commander, the only issue he would have would be his worry for Cody's autonomy (the whole superior officer thing, and clones not having rights)
But if Cody made the the first move....
Cody kissing Obi-Wan suddenly during a heated moment
"Oh kriffing finally"
"Osik! General I am so sorry! I know the Jedi Order doesn't allow attachme-"
"Oh screw the kriffing Order! They wont kick me out before the war ends, im a High General. And after the war I'd feel comfortable knowing Anakin is safe for me and you to go off on our own adventures dear."
"But- the force?"
"would still be with me. And it's not like I am exiled. I'll still be able to see my friends, see Anakin and ahsoka. And I would have you by my side. That is all I could ever ask for in this life my love."
"I love you cyare"
"And I love you darling"
